Avalla S-200 Portable 3-in-1 Air Conditioning Unit; 24L Dehumidifier, Large 88m³ Coverage for Multi-Room, 2600W Industrial Class 9000BTU

I have been going back and forth about buying an air conditioning unit, but the recent heatwave stints in the UK have meant existing in a UK-based house has become unbearable, especially at night. I chose the Avalla S-90 originally, which sold out while I was in the process of purchasing, so 'upgraded' to the S-200. I've only owned it for one weekend, but so far it has been excellent. PROS: - Arrived a day after purchasing, super quick! - Was really easy to setup. Only need to connect the hose and stick it out the window, and plug in - Cools a room down really quickly, I left it on for an hour before bedtime and the room was nice and cool. I didn't have it on all night and only turned it on briefly in the morning - Don't need to drain the water, it evaporates! Unless you're using the dehumidifier setting (which I don't) - Doesn't cost much to run. While my usage increases when it's on, it's nowhere near what I expected it to be. As long as you're not running it all day, everyday, you should be fine! - Very affordable. I've seen units for £500+, which likely do the exact same as this unit does, which is insane! CONS: - It is noisy, noisier than my standing fan, however it's so worth it. I had it on while I was out of the room and switched it off when I went to bed, so didn't bother me while I was sleeping. - The hose is big, and I struggle it get it out of my window. I also have to add a sheet around it so the window isn't open to bugs/moths at night. There are tools included that can help with this but I have old windows so doesn't work for me. I also have blinds, and my overheated brain didn't consider that the blind will now have to sit on top of hose. If you have curtains, this won't be an issue! - It's heavy, but I expected this. There are wheels but my carpets are thick and don't allow it to move much. I won't be moving it to different rooms but I've made my peace with this. Overall, I'm very happy with my big blow-y ice box.

This is oozing quality. It's sturdy, powerful and if we have hot summer weeks like we did in 2022 this will be a great asset to our bungalow. It works very well as a cloths dryer and dehumidifier. We've not had hot weather yet on the East coast where I live, in fact it's almost like we haven't left March and it's now June. I think this will work well given the other features work well, no reason why it shouldn't. It is heavy, it's on wheels but difficult to push around on a carpet. It's not as noisy as our other dehumidifier by a long stretch so a bit of give and take. Overall, this unit is a little more expensive than others on Amazon but it is quality, worth the extra money and it's sold by a UK company based in England which has to be a bonus these days. I had a question and emailed their customer service who came back to me with an answer very quickly, helpful and courteous. A good product with a 2 year warranty.

This is a fantastic unit. Put it in our sons room and it dropped the temperature by 4 degrees in 30 minutes. Really is a lifesaver to make sure kids can sleep in the heat. The only downside is that it’s quite noisy so you don’t want it too close to you as it could keep you from sleeping. But the noise was expected and it’s incredibly powerful 👍

It’s amazingly easy to use. Remote control is easy to understand and easy to learn. Size of AC is good enough. Weight is a little heavier than I expected. Air quality is fantastic as I expected because I am from a country that AC is an essential part of the house! Functionality is great and stable. It is 3 in 1 that helps you to save money and prevent buying 3 devices individually!

I bought this to keep my bedroom cool during the summer. It works well and cools down the room effectively. It is easy to use and has a compact design that fits in a small space. One drawback is that the outlet pipe that does not reach the top opening window in my setup. I had to buy a longer pipe separately but one advantage is that the replacement pipe was a counterclockwise fitting and the original was a clockwise fitting but it fits fine. When using it in cooling / air con mode, I like the fact you can set the temperature and just let it do it's thing. The customer service was helpful and responsive when I contacted them with some questions. Overall, I am satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a portable air conditioner.

Having thought long and hard about purchasing an air conditioning unit I read the reviews but I didn’t really know what to look for. The unit arrived very quickly from the supplier. Our living room which measures approx 20ft x 26ft is extremely hot in the summer. Once arrived it recommends you leave it standing for 24hrs before use ( I believe this is to allow the fluids in the motor to settle ) I did do this and set it up the next day. WOW, what a result!!! It cools down to 16 degrees at the lowest temp. It cooled the room within 10 mins and you can feel the cold air coming from the vents which you can angle. It is relatively noisy and you can’t get away from that. I just turned up the TV. I wouldn’t recommend it for the bedroom. It looks good, the extractor hose is great for sliding doors and sash windows but not for normal UPVC openings. I am extremely satisfied with the product and seller delivery. It really does do what it says.

Nice and cool but I wouldn't say it was multi room. Takes a long time to cool the front room and dining room, on the landing it doesn't cool the bedrooms, just the landing. It has a night mode, but all the night mode does is dim the lights on it slightly. It's way too loud to have on in the bedroom at night. The hose duct that comes with it is way too short for UK windows. But besides that, it's good.

Quite impressed!! Was hoping it really would work, and it does! Kept the whole of the downstairs of our house lovely and cool. Didnt even realise it was 30°c outside till i opened the back door. Hose is a bit short but not too much of an issue if you can stand the machine near a window to vent. Only downside, it is loud. But that is minor compared to not being hot!! I will but a 2nd one for upstairs as well.
