The Foster Bifocal Sun Reader Sport and Wrap Around Reading Sunglasses, Unisex Half Frame Readers

I was pleasantly surprised by these sunglasses. I wanted some bifocals to take to the beach so I could read cheap paperback novels while taking in the scenery as well. The reading portion of the lenses is a little too small to let me see an entire page at once, but I quickly adapted to slightly lifting and lowering my head as needed while reading. Another plus is being able to read my cell phone screen without having to remove my sunglasses and put on readers. I was concerned that the bifocals might look dorky, but you can barely tell they are there when looking straight on. When I first put them on, the side pieces pressed firmly against the side of my head. At first I thought they were too tight, but I left them on and within a couple of minutes did not notice any discomfort. The snug fit keeps them seated on my face and they don't slip down my nose even with sweat and suntan lotion. After successful use at the beast, I've made them my go-to pair for daily use.

I picked these up for cycling (the human powered kind), and they became my go-to sunglasses for riding. They provide GREAT wind protection, and don't fog up even on sweaty summer rides. They cut the glare without cutting the contrast. But best of all, the built-in readers help me read my electronics perfectly. What a treat! I think mine are 1.5X, and seem to be spot on. The frames are resilient plastic, and do not feel cheap or easily breakable. (I also have a pair of the gray/black ones, but reach for these first.) If I lose them, I will order again. Was looking for sunglasses readers to use during outdoor photography and these fit the bill pretty well. These allow me to see the back of the the camera without affecting distance vision. Non-polarized which is great for viewing electronic displays in different orientations. Verified their UV blocking performance too, so am happy since some of the UV claims are false. Spring hinges would've been nice to have. Very lightweight feel to them, not exactly cheap but not going to mistake them for Maui Jim's either. Will see how they hold up, hope they don't get scratched too easily.

Love these sunglasses! I'm really not sure how I managed getting through my weekend errands (looking at my list of things to do while sitting in my car, etc.) prior to buying these glasses. These are great! They are so comfortable and clear, I worried maybe they weren't really UV protective. So I took them to a nearby optical shop and asked them to confirm the UV protection. Sure enough, they confirmed 100% UVA and UVB protection! Also, my nose bridge is pretty short/low, so I like the fact that the arms hug my temples very slightly. This keeps the glasses supported, so that I'm looking through the proper lens segment (distance or bifocal) at the right time. And the price can't be beat. Highly recommended!!

I drive for Uber and I have difficulty seeing the app on my phone while driving. I tried wearing my Oakley blade sunglasses and my reading glasses on the outside of them (pretty sexy, I can tell you - the chicks dig the look!) which didn't work well. These glasses are the best! The tint is right, they are not polarized, and they fit snugly on my face. More importantly, they don't look like bifocals and really do the trick while driving. I'm not blinded by the bright sunlight here in Las Vegas and I can see the Uber app nice and clearly now! Highly recommend these glasses!

These fit me perfectly and are well-made. I love that I have great peripheral vision when wearing these sunglasses for driving. The only problem is that I can't get used to the bifocal feature. It distracts and annoys me while I'm driving. I've never worn bifocal glasses of any kind before so I'm not even sure if what I'm seeing with these sunglasses is normal for bifocals. I don't think I can use them for reading outside because the area that I need to use for reading is not large enough and would not allow me to see enough of my field of vision when reading. And these sunglasses really don't help me see the dashboard any better. I have to keep tilting my head up or down in order to get the parts of the dashboard in the correct section of the glasses. It feels very unnatural. These would be perfect sunglasses if there was an option for non-bifocal lenses.

I have been buying these for about 12 years or more. Can't live without them. They last a couple years before being too scratched, and the nose piece wears out....but works great and nicely styled too

Cheap, but not very comfortable. The bifocal is quite small and you need to stick your nose in the air to then read down your nose. Going back to my more expensive bifocal sunglasses.

These are okay but fit too tight and give me a headache. Plus they are the only sunglasses that causes my iPhone not to recognize with facial ID.
