Purchased four of these in different keys. Strong, metal frame which works well with my holder. Good quality reeds and excellent tone.

This is Honer quality. Plays easily, clean and clear. Bends notes so far they wrap around the room. Excellent buy.

Great for the price, but lowest note sounds dead. Not bad at all for a beginner.

This is a brand I know very well, and love, so this purchase was a no-brainer as a gift. I think everyone should try one. Music gives people a real chance to explore sound - and play melodies - or just make sound and vibration. It's relaxing, it's inspiring, it's - compared to many other instruments - pretty easy to find early success. I gave this to my brother, who was interested in learning. I'm told he carries it around and plays tunes for everyone. What more can you ask for a real live, high-quality musical instrument? Nothing. :)

Harmonica, excellent size and sound.

It plays fine right out of the box and draw bends as easily as professional grade harmonicas that cost twice as much. That said, its overall tone feels breathy and reedy. It feels a little chintzy and is made in China. Definitely wouldn't use it for performances, but it's a cheap alternative for beginners.

Superior inexpensive harmonica

Well built harmonica. Unlike other Hohner harmonicas, the center section with the slots is plastic, instead of the traditional wood. I compared the sound to other comparable harmonicas. The sound is not identical, but still sounds good. The sound isn't "tinny" or "plasticky" like cheap toy store harmonicas. The sound is rich and pleasant.

Fairly new to the harmonica but using in my music and recordings. I make music as a hobby not professional. These are one of the best harmonicas for the price and perform well beyond what I expected even when mic ed up through amps for a jam.

As a beginner it seems to be easy to play without using too much breath which as 65 year old with a lung complication is helpful.
