I applied this over a recently painted item and it made the paint pop.

I'm not sure how much this did. The other two parts with the chrome and backing seemed to do quite a lot. I don't think this does much other than any other clear paint.

Great product

This product is horrible and I wasted my money on it because it’s non-returnable. As others said, it dulled the finish and made the chrome look terrible.I followed the instructions exactly, starting with the backer, then the chrome, and then the clear coat. I had a pretty good finish (still not the same as real chrome) before the clear coat. I sprayed the clear coat on and it IMMEDIATELY turned my finish black and dull (see picture). It ruined my project. What a waste of money. If I could give it a negative rating I would.

Clear is clear. Used this over their chrome paint and it's holding up well. I used it on a door handle, so it sees a lot of use. Still holding strong.
