leave your the tarnish on your silver bars alone. that's normal. this stuff is crap.!

what do you use for final wash to stop the chemical action, i saw a 2 wash plan on utube first ammoni then dawn and water final wash before dry on fib

Listen, Only use on Uncirculated or Proof Coins. Use nitrile rubber gloves. Dip the coin for 3 seconds. Then immediately rinse under tap water for 5 seconds. Then transfer the coin into a distilled water bath for 5 seconds. Once the coin is taken out of the bath, place it on a paper towel and dab the excess water. Then use a hairdryer on "cool" to dry the coin until dry. Wait at least 30 minutes before placing the coin into an Airtight or Album.

Can this be used to safely clean stirling silver jewelry?

Yes but it will take all tarnish off so if you have artificially tarnished silver you should not use it.

does anyone know the chemistry of this product, the active ingredients? Does the package give any information?

Save you money. I did not find this product to be effective in cleaning silver quarters. Standard silver polish (Wright's) was superior.
