SONGMICS Trash Can, 2 x 8 Gallon (2 x 30 L), White and Gray

Amazing garbage and recycling! If you want 2 garbage or one of each this one is perfect. It has a great seal and feels well built. It fits perfect in the spot I had for it. The garbage bags that come with it aren’t the best as they rip fast and easy, so do yourself a favor and get some stronger white ones from your grocery store. White looks so nice!!

Very nice looking can..Pros: Large recycling can. Easy foot petal but go lightly when you press because over time it will break because of too much force. Has a lid seal. I had to glue mine because it wouldn't stick (all good). Heavy can and it will keep stationary when you press the foot pedal. 13 gal bags can be used. My particular can has a hole on the side of the can to lock in the bags. My purchase came with stickers but I choose another brand. Comes with a sample of trash bags to start you off with. CONS: Over time pressing on the foot pedal too hard will break the internal plastic parts, causing the lid not to open. It's inevitable. All foot petal cans will break. Trash bags must be installed tightly or the lid will not seal. Take your time. You must clean the bottom of the unit because debris will fall in the bottom and Mr Magot will appear. Easy to dent the metal ring around the lid. Overall...Pull the trigger!

I highly recommend this trash can. It is heavy and made very well. I love how large both sides are and the fact that the pedals open separately is a plus as I found that is why my simplehuman double can broke. The pedal opened the entire one opening at once and it was too much weight. This can is modern looking and I would definitely buy it again.

Had this on my shopping list for a while and decided to spring for the Prime Day deal. We are already so happy with it! Was fully assembled already, and has separate lids and compartments for trash and recycling, which we have wanted to save on space. Looks nice and modern so isn’t an eyesore sitting out. Bonus is that our normal tall trash bags from Target fit just fine. They also don’t slip off or down since the interior can rests on top the shell and the bag tucks under the edge nicely. The bags are also easy to add and remove since it’s lightweight. The exterior is easy to wipe clean and doesn’t show prints like the stainless steel cans do. Only critical observation is that dust and small particles will sit on the interior ledge (noticed this when emptying a dust pan). But honestly our old can did that too, and this is easier since there are no deep corners so I just wipe it down or use my handheld vacuum for that when I change bags! Great value!

Had this thing for a few years. It closes but not tight at all. It's not enough to keep the smell of the trash from infiltrating the room. Also I was never able to find a good fitting off brand bag for these bins because bod the non standard size of the 2 compartments. So if you don't buy bags directly from them, the bags will never fit in there the way they are supposed to. They'll bunch up and keep the lids from closing. Also, it really doesn't hold that much. (And we're a household of just 2 people) We empty it every couple of days. Also, it's very hard to get the compartments back in their little spot. I tend to have to wiggle it a lot as it comes off track easily. I'm now searching for a larger one from a different brand. This is the off brand and I would rather spend a little bit more money on a better high quality brand than deal with the unwanted quirks of this trash can any longer. I won't buy this brand again. You can definitely tell it's cheaper than the name brand trash can brand.
