Purchased this specifically for a trip to Vegas as I wanted to be able to take photos from the pool.I made sure to read the instructions and followed them. The cover worked great. I submerged it to clean off the front screen and front and back camera from sunscreen. I took it to the bathroom and submerged it in running water and soap to clean off the front case. It stayed sealed and phone was unharmed. I plan to take it to the pool throughout the summer and use it in the same manner. Nice to be able to take photos by the pool without worrying. All that being said I am not using to take underwater photos and I am also only using the case when I'm at the pool and putting on my regular case when I'm not at the pool so not sure how it works for daily use.

My first catalyst case was for the iPhone 12 Pro Max, and my complaint was that it was not really magsafe compatible. However this wasn't an issue since I was able to buy a magsafe sticker with magnets to get around this issue. Other than that it was a solid case I trusted it to protect my phone, It was a solid and study case. Now moving on to the Catalyst case for the iPhone 13 Pro Max this case feels flimsy and the screen protector gets raised even when using it with tempered glass screen protector as shown in the catalyst website. The screen protector is still raised causing touch screen issues. This case does not have a good seal where the two pieces connect, making it seem like it is not waterproof. And I definitely would not trust this case around water. This case is not worth $89.99 USD it feels cheap and poorly made. To make matters worse Catalyst still claims this case is magsafe compatible when it is not. I have to say Catalyst you really let me down this time. If anyone is looking for a cheaper but superior alternative I suggest the "Ghostek NAUTICAL Waterproof Case for iPhone 13 Pro Max". It is well priced and delivers when it comes to quality.

This phone case has everything that a phone needs for protection. My favorite part is the hard face plate that protects the screen from breakage, and it's waterproof. Catalyst has designed a well made and perfect fitting case from high quality materials. I've dropped my phone many times on marble and stone floors without damage due to this superior case. It is expensive but worth it compared to the cost of an iPhone and the inconvenience of sending it away for repair. It's also easy to remove when needs be. I highly recommend this Total Protection case from Catalyst if you want peace of mind from phone damage.

Although the iPhone 13 pro has capable waterproofing/water resistance, I use this case when I go to the beach to avoid scratches from sand infiltrating ordinary cases I typically use. This means that I plop it on when I need it and take it off when I don’t. This also means that I have glass type screen protector that I keep on my phone (and prefer not to have to reapply a new screen protector every time a put my phone in a case that has a built in screen protector). I’ve gone through about a half dozen different “cheap” types and wasn’t satisfied with any of them. They all aren’t compatible if you have a screen protector already on your phone. Finally broke down and purchased this one. This is by far the best option out there (since it is actually designed to allow use with a phone that already has a screen protector on such as in my use case).

I was stoked to try a different waterproof case outside of lifeproof’s line. My use case scenario is I’m a General Contractor that’s in attics and crawl spaces with a lot of fine dirt/sawdust that infiltrates any case that isn’t sealed.Waterproofing is a nice secondary feature, this case has the ability to change my phone via wireless if I get it mounted just right.Pros:The screen cover works great compared to other fully sealed cases I’ve used.The lens covers are robust and have protected my lenses from nails/screws in my tool bagThe bottom lightning cover plug is way more robust than similar waterproof cases.Cons:The volume UP button will depress when I crouch down with the phone in my front right pocket. When listening to music it’s a hearing hazard. I cut the button down flush with the side of the case with my utility knife… did not solve the problem. The frame of the case is flexing enough to depress the volume UP button.The roll dial to turn on/off silent mode is textured enough that it will roll to silent mode off (sounds on) 50% of the time when putting it in my pocket. I keep my phone in silent mode 98% of the time to silence phone calls/texts so I can focus on work while listening to an audiobook or podcast…

Case is easy to work with goes off and on easy. I fish in my kayak a lot and I noticed some water on the screen inside the case went to take the case off and the screen separated from the plastic shell now rendering it totally not waterproof. On top of that the plastic screen cover scratches VERY easy after a week or two of use the screen is covered in scratches. I still use it due to the price of the case but there has to be better quality waterproof cases out there.

I have had numerous catalyst cases (I’m hard on phones and had to replaced after they screen and back for scratched up) but they always protected my phone SOOO well. Even through an ATV accident on gravel. However, for the iPhone 13 pro the buttons were extremely hard to push and didn’t fit snug enough for the touch screen. Hard to push hard on screen or push multiple times. Also pro/con with the frosted back- pro wont get scratched like the clear acrylic but con- didn’t show off the iPhone which was I originally switched from lifeproof cases to catalyst. Overall still very protective but just some issues never had before. I sadly bought a new case after using it for 4 years with my old iPhone. If I’m ever going to an event I feel I need extra protection I’d use it for that day but not everyday use anymore.

There’s no need to put a screen protector on phone if you’re going to use this case. Most of all the complaints are from people using a screen protector. I put 1 on and hated it, took it off and it works perfectly. Best sound quality from a waterproof phone case.

Fit perfect, looks great, does what it’s supposed to do. The warranty is amazing. Worth the money!

2/3 von meinen Schnorcheltouren auf den Malediven kam Wasser in das Case.Ich habe die Dichtung und das case sehr sorgfältig und sauber gehalten, daran kann nicht liegen… vielleicht doch mal ein Produktionfehler ?!Für soviel Geld 90 Euro sollte das aber nicht passieren und darum werde ich leider das case zurückgeben und mir einen andere Lösung wie GoPro überlegen..

El material es poco resistente lastimosamente imaginaba un producto mejor y me he llevado un fiasco ya que he visto que hay productos similares a un precio mínimo 90€ por un producto con un material tan endeble que no proteja para nada el móvil no merece la pena. NO LO RECOMIENDO…

ist schon mein 2 Catalyst iPhone Case hatte für mein altes IPhone auch schon eines, egal ob beim Sport, in der Natur, oder beim Arbeiten der Schutz ist Sehr Gut. Auch beim Fotos machen finde ich es super ich kann das iPhone einfach auf Beton, Felsen, Asphalt stellen um schöne Bilder zu machen ohne das es irgendeinen Schaden oder Kratzer bekommt.

Very bad quality compaired to their 11 pro max case. Phone is lose inside case all you hear is creeks like case dont fit it right. For such an expensive case i will never buy catalyst again when i was such a loyal customer. I emailed them with no answer. Dont waste ur money i got a bodyglove case at walmart for $30 fit better then this $120 case
