Great tool. Perfect size and awesome finish. Its great to cut zip ties, cables etc. It's better than using a pocket knife, its safer and very well designed. Great gift for man that "has all tools".

Really great tool I use it every day can't believe how sharp it is cutting some of the wire I do very durable and I really like the safety clip that the scissors lock into

I bought these scissors so I could have a pair of electricans shears at home. They have a nice comfy grip and come with a holster which I liked. There was only one problem. When I opened the scissors to use them they WOULDN'T close. As it turns out the wire-capture/indent in the blades was catching on the other blade of the scissors. At first I thought I just got a set with bent blades, but on a second glance I noticed that the edges where the scissor blades initially meet (see pictures) were both hard-edges and were catching on one another. The fix was REALLY simple. Using a file, I just broke the straight-edged tip of the "hook" where the blades initially come together (circled in RED) on both blades. About 3 light strokes with a file on either side to break that tip just slightly and now the scissors work perfectly. They're ridiculously sharp and have been a welcome addition to my home workbench ever since.

Made for a electrician but they are kept handy on the deck of my boat. They cut everything. Braid is no problem

Great cutters

These are not as useful as I was hoping they would be. Yes they will cut smaller AWG wire & strip. Good for Cat 5, doorbell wire, thermostat wire. Stranded or solid they are fine with this AWG. I was hoping to also use them for plastic bags & paper. Kind of like regular siccors. They do not work for this purpose.

These are great scissors for fishing and to have on the boat. They are tough and versatile with the right size for most needs.

Best for Technicians, its a hard-core scissors, cutting even the big drop wires easily.
