Let me start by saying I just love this. It's what I had been looking for to use for lunch at work. I can now bring my lunch in a glass container, keep it chilled in a cooler with ice pack, and about an hour before I want to eat, will pop it into this little warmer unit and have food ready to go before I know it. I put a thermometer under my glass dish at the end just before pulling it out to eat my food, and it settled out around 195 degrees f. That is plenty warm! However, it works that it doesn't burn food, or dry it out, if you keep it covered. I knew it generated some heat, because I could only hold the glass dish for a few seconds before needing to switch hands or place it down. Be aware that it does heat up! It does heat things slowly, but you can give it time to work and you'll get great results. I like it better than heating my food in a microwave. Now, I can easily warm my food in my office, without having to trek across the building to the old-school microwaves that leave cold spots in my food. Then, when I'm ready, remove my food and have a nice, hot, piping meal. It will be hot, and if you leave it running too long, you'll need to wait for your food to cool, that is how well it works. It is easy to use, just plug it in. I got a remote switch so I leave the oven at work, bring my food in another cooler and just transfer it when I'm ready to heat my food. So far, it's worked for me daily without issue. I think it is a great value for its cost and the features it provides. Glad to have picked this up!

This hot plate works exceptionally well. One of my favorite features is that I can use my own containers instead of being limited to specific cookware. It heats up very quickly and reaches high temperatures fast, which is a huge plus. As a flight attendant, I use it in our small galley, and it’s been perfect for the limited space. It’s especially convenient during our quick turnarounds, allowing me to prepare or heat meals efficiently without wasting time. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a compact, fast-heating hot plate.

I was impressed, Just what I needed for my bedside table. I am bedridden at the moment and it is nice to be able to heat something when I want from a meal to muffins it works great.

Update: I did finally hear from the manufacturer. FYI: if you need to contact them, email the address in the manual that came with the item instead of following the contact instructions on Amazon. They did respond there and sent me the right cord. It took a little while, but they were communicative about it. The item works exactly as I hoped it would. I chose this model because of the flexibility of using your own containers, as opposed to the last warmer I bought that only came with its own proprietary sized container. It has room for a variety of sizes and you can use metal, glass, or even plastic (though I personally choose not to use plastic in it for potential health reasons.) Speaking of plastic, it does give of a little bit of a “hot plastic” smell, but not as bad as the previous brand I owned. The build quality feels very quality, it holds shape well, and the zipper works really well. It heats my food to more than adequate temperatures, and I was even able to cook liquid eggs into “scrambled” eggs in a glass container with some oil, salt, and pepper without any runny parts remaining. I chose this specific model because of the flexibility of plugging into AC or DC so I can plug it into the car or to my Jackery while on the go. From what I can ascertain, it does run at a higher wattage on AC vs DC, 80 vs 60 if I remember right, so AC should theoretically cook faster than DC. I will have to confirm this through use. My instinct is to update my review to 4 stars from 1 since I received the DC power cord eventually. But on the product’s actual functional merit, it has definitely been a 5 star experience so I will update it as such. Hopefully this has been helpful to you the prospective buyer. Original review: I was looking forward to trying this out, but unfortunately I have not been able to use it at all yet. Instead of receiving an AC cord and a DC cord, I received 2 AC cords. So there’s no way for me to try it in the car, which is the entire reason I ordered it. I have emailed the company on their website form, as instructed, twice now, and have not heard anything from anyone.

The product does what it should. My husband works construction and uses it to heat up his lunch at the job site. Be aware it takes about 45 minutes to heat up rice, broccoli, and thin steak, but the food does come out hot. I pack his lunch in a stainless steal Bentgo container and haven’t used a glass container, so I’m unsure if that makes any difference. He used the car outlet portion once and that worked just as well as the regular plug outlet. I gave 4/5 just because of how long it takes to heat up but it gets the job done.

My aunt is in a rehab facility and isn't allowed to have a microwave, so finding a safe way for her to warm up leftovers has been a challenge. It is amazing to warm up leftovers and help stay on a budget. Easily to maintain. No, it isn’t as fast as a microwave, but when you don’t have access to one, this heated lunchbox is an amazingly handy tool to have!

Literally my favorite thing ever. Im a flight attendant and I've been able to save so much money by bringing my home cooked meals with me on layovers. Frozen meals, leave it on for a couple hours (I just pop the meal in just after noon and it'll be hot and ready by the time I want to eat). Or for refrigerated meals, about an hour or up to two. As long as there is a lid on your meal it won't dry out, stays moist and very hot. It doesn't burn my meals so I just leave it warmed up for a long time, no problem. The description says that it won't heat certain items but I put it to the test today and had a tall glass bowl with mashed potatoes and chicken wings and it heated everything through! It even heated the sauce container on TOP of the bowl. Im shocked and in love ❤️ If you use aluminum containers im sure it'll be much more efficient. But plastic works well too. My layover bestie 💓
