Chug Lid with Wide Mouth by Coldest

We have been looking for a water bottle that is worth its salt. We are in SWFL where it is Hot. All the bottles have been tried. Hydroflask (2nd best), Yeti, zulu, odwala, Walmart’s, and on and on. Filled a 64 Coldest halfway with ice. 48 hours later on the counter still had half the ice. The straw lid wasn’t ideal for the super hot sports so we invested even more in this lid. Colors were funky. Everything about the company has it all more girl than guy. But we found something and the cap is perfect companion to a perfect water bottle. Easy to carry. Push button on side and it pops open. Can use the little cone thing but haven’t yet. Its a solid investment. Amen. Late to the game on this brand but its a huge score and this lid is the ultimate way to go!

Good fitment on a large coldest 40oz. No leaks and works as expected.

Worked perfectly on my SENDESTAR 32oz Wide Mouth Water Bottle. The chug lid that cam on the bottle had a screw on/off cap. This new lid fit, and has a well sealed, push button flip up cap.

Other cheaper bottles include 3 bottle tops (and carriers, but that's another story), and my favorite top has been the chug lid, so I was disappointed when my Coldest bottle arrived with just the straw top (fine, just as advertised, I'm just not a fan of the straw top). It really should come standard with the bottle, that's my feeling on the matter. That being said, it's proven leak-proof thus-far, doesn't sweat, looks sharp (I got the white to go with my cosmic ice bottle but I really preferred black, which doesn't appear to be an option, boo!), and the handle is sturdy enough to carry without worrying about breaking. The dual-lock is nice, not sure if it's necessary but I like the added security "just in case". It's a little more pricey than comparable chug lids, but not so much that it hurts. It seems a little easier to open and close than the other chug lids I have, which are screw-top. This is just unlock, click, it opens -- one-handed, easy-peasy. So yeah, if you prefer a chug lid, you can get cheaper lids, but for a couple bucks more you can get this with the dual-lock that you can open and close one handed, and it won't sweat like my other lids tend to do. Plus, it looks sharp. Still wish black was an option.

I had been a fan of the Coldest water bottles, but I'm pretty unhappy right now. The silicon/rubbery part in the chug lid needs replacing. I've already replaced the lid once on my water bottle. I asked Coldest Support for help and they said they do not sell the part. I don't even know what the exact name of the part is - silicon water bottle stopper/gasket? You can't just buy any gasket as some gaskets are made for things like cars, which is not food grade. Anyway, I've ordered a few different silicon water bottle stoppers, but none of them work as the underside of the stopper needs to be hollow and all the ones I got were not. I even took pictures of it and searched on the internet and I got lots of results, but nothing close to what Coldest uses for their lids. Without this part, the lid is NOT leakproof. They buy these from somewhere so why can't they tell us what that part is and where to get it? If this part fails, you have to buy a whole new lid. That is less expensive than another water bottle, but still, this part must cost even if I buy it, $1-3, but instead I need to pay $13 for a new lid. There have been other companies that have products instead of using using universal parts for things that are not proprietary, they'll use specialized parts designed for them by another manufacturer that cannot be readily come by, but that is not proprietary. So then you're forced to pay a lot more then simply replace that part.
