I often watch TV late at night & like to have a Nightlight on. It’s also useful to see when getting up in the night. It’s bright enough to see by but not too bright that it would stop you falling asleep. I got the “wood version” which is quite stylish & sets a nice ambiance. I love the fact that you can set it on a Timer Function & then you’re not wasting any charge if you do fall asleep. (Would be great for use in kids bedrooms & safe as not plugged into the electric whilst in use). I use it every night & it still lasts upto a week before I charge it again, which usually takes less than an hour. NB For those who had charging issues;- I found that it would not charge when using an iPhone USB plug. I tried to use one the first time & it didn’t work. Apple is renowned for making products for short use & for use on certain things so I decided to try a USB plug that I got from Amazon & had no problems;- it worked fine with the supplied charging lead. Therefore I think some of the reviews from people who had issues and, unfortunately, returned it may have not realised this. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this lovely little lamp.

We have a newborn and turning on the main lights made it hard to resettle the little one. These are a must-have. The battery lasts well and you can change the brightness by holding the button down, plus there is a timer function. Great for night feeds and walking around the house when you don’t want to turn the lights on. The quality is good, it doesn’t feel cheap, and the price is decent for what you get. We also take them travelling as a handy night light.

I LOVE IT!!!! Very easy to use. You can set time to automatically turn off up to 90min, by turning the lamp top, cool feature! Also, long press it to adjust the lightness level! I find it very practical as a bed lamp. It looks lovely as well, white top, wooden base, small in size. Light weight to move it around. USB charging!! Also a bonus, this brand offers good service. They is kindly offered me a brand new one when my old one stopped working. Highly recommend!!!

Great little light for when you need to get up in the night but don't want to be woken up properly by a normal bedside light. The timer function is brilliant. The light is really easy to use - press the top of the light to turn it on and off, and turn the light to set the timer. It isn't strong enough to read by (which is why I've marked it four instead of five stars) but it's a comforting warm light to go to sleep to and the battery life is fantastic. I charge it perhaps once every 3 months. I've had mine for maybe two years and it's still going strong with no problems.

Smilodon Timer Night Light: Compact and well made. Good battery life between charges. A nice, diffused warm white dimmable light with memory. A useful timer to turn off the light. Ideal at the bedside when going to sleep where a bright, harsh light is unwelcome. Turn on the warm light with a tap and twist to set the timer and fall asleep with a dim light that switches itself off after the set time. Brilliant for those nocturnal visits to the bathroom or upon waking early in the morning when it’s still dark as the dim light doesn’t dazzle you. The lowest brightness is just right to fall to sleep giving the room a very soft glow and on full brightness it is sufficient to find objects but I would not personally find it bright enough to read by. I have purchased a couple more as gifts and both recipients are loving their new lights.

Great item! Simple to use, lasts really long on one charging. The light colour is eye friendly. I use it mostly when feeding my newborn (it is not quite strong enough to use while changing nappies). Great value for money, highly recommend, I am very glad I got this simple, one light colour option rather than multiple colours versions. It just does the job and doesn't distract my newborn.

This is a very handy night light, it's brightness is perfect for what it is, a small little light to have on in the bedroom, very handy for 3am bathroom runs! It's a brilliant design, you press down on the top, to turn on and off. When you turn it on, the display shows two dashes, which means it's not on timer, but just rotate the top left or right, to move the timer up and down (upto 90 mins I think), and then it'll turn itself off when the timer hits zero. Very handy, charges by USB, but the battery life is phenomenal, as I've only charged it once in over half a year, and its still running smoothly.

Was nice when first purchased as the brightness could be adjusted, but after a while, it was not being charged & no way to turn it back in

This light is perfect for use on our bedside. Dim light that doesn't wake my light-sleeping wife. Timer for when you want to read a bit but tend to fall asleep. Push down to dim. Quality is decent as a toddler and a baby have not managed to break it yet.

Not five star because the light is pretty weak. Basically need to have it placed on the book I read. But its easily portable and can be charged with USB c and lasts long.
