We have been using this product for years and do not see any problems with it. D-Ribose is a trade name ver 20 yrs or so now.

The info shows this is in a bag protected from uv rays. Is that important? I transferred it to a clear jar for easier use due to neuralgia- ?

Honestly, I don't know how important it is. I have a clear plastic 1-cup tub I put it in and keep the rest in the bag, but I store both in a closed cabinet. I don't see how UV can affect it as long as it is not in a window, so as long as you don't notice a change in the amount of pain relief, it will be fine.

i am not familiar with this brand. How do i know it is pure since these products are not FDA regulated?
