Is this set sturdy? Does it feel cheap?

It does not feel cheap at all. The weight is just right, edges are smooth. In fact, I liked it so much that I bought a second set.

Is the knife made from two pieces or is the blade and handle all one?

This looks very much like ours and the knife handle is "all one."

After much use have you seen any rust stains or scratches?

No rust or scratches. Good quality. We are pleased with the dinner ware.
