Herb Guard - 2 Oz Airtight Ultraviolet Jar (1 Liter) Keeps Herbs Fresh for Months

This jar has plenty of space, the glass is very well constructed, the lid is easy to use and seals well, can keep things humid or dry, depending on what your using it for I would throw in a dry or humidity packet for extra fresh or preservative means. I also get a lot of compliments on the jar itself, it is a bit pricey but overall good value for money.

It’s worth the price I have no idea why people talk about the lid works great definitely airtight quality product I can see it being hard to operate first time but it’s like anything you gotta get used to how it functions overall it’s a great product

I'm using 3 jars and I'm baffled by all the negative reviews. Granted, I've only been using the jars for 26 days but so far so good. I actually heard it out gassing one time and it freaked me out as I didn't know it did this. Seal is very tight when pressurized. Top cannot be removed. My only complaint is sometimes it's difficult to release the pressure. I have to press the button more than once.

Love them, sometimes the touch doesn't like to respond to my finger. And sometimes when it will say OFF when you press it, but then it doesn't release the vacuum, and you have to fiddle with trying a few times. In the beginning the touch panels worked flawlessly, but sometimes now it seems a little buggy, I don't access them very much, I have a few of these for storage, not daily use. I am not sure if my weird issues are common, or a battery charge issue, I don't charge them often but the battery meters say they are always full or 1 bar down, I've never let them die, maybe the meter isn't accurate and as charge drops the touch response isn't as accurate? Not sure, but I do still love them, and would like to get more, but these thing are pretty pricey.

Yes the price is a little high, and yes a mason jar is way way cheaper. But the build quality and the blocking of the ultraviolet is a plus. What is odd is that Green Protected and Herb Guard appear to be the same thing with about two dollars difference between the two. How do I know they are the same? I weighed them, they weigh down to the gram the same. They both have the same exact marking of an M on the bottom with a number and the same exact circle design of dots on the bottom. I bought one of each. It's exactly the same jar charged two dollars difference. Odd, but smart for the dealer. They use different brands with exact same product to monopolize the market. Brilliant. Again I love the jar, great quality and absolutely no smell.

I purchased six of these jars and I love them. Everything about them is great. Here is something that people need to know about them though. There’s no instructions regarding how the auto burp feature works so I contacted the company because I wanted to make sure I was using these right and this was their response: There's nothing that you need to do on your end after you press the lock button. The jar will automatically allow the oxygen in 2 ways, the first is the lid will not hold a full seal at all times allowing for air to exchange in over time, then once it hits a certain capacity it will vacuum it out and allow for the next O2 to exchange back in. That's when you'll hear the lid working on its own removing the air out, typically every 1-2 days you'll hear this. I am happy with this response however, this leads me to believe that it’s better to manually burp these rather than to rely on the auto burp feature. The auto feature to me tells me that it may or may not auto burp over the course of a couple days and in the beginning, I know you wanna burp almost every day so I have just been manually doing it. I just don’t trust that will do it properly on its own (too much money at steak to trust). I will leave that up to everyone else to decide for themselves though. My only complaint is that the plastic storage bag tore upon opening, so I couldn't use it. Other than that, I like the design and UV protection. My room does not reek of greens, so I am very happy about that. A bit pricey but it works as advertised.

I love this jar, it’s perfect, it really does lock all smells of herbs and keeps them fresh. Unfortunately my jar arrived with a broken lid, I contacted seller who responded rather quickly and they me sent me a replacement lid out more or less immediately :). I would certainly buy from this seller again and would recommend these jars to anyone who uses herbs. Thank you for promptly sending me out a replacement lid, much appreciated and respect for doing so 🙂.

Purchased 30th December, box was open no instructions,no humidity pack , it is now defective,the vacuum keeps going off every 2minutes,and Amazon will not give me the option of a return ,when I have had it less than 3months .
