For A Quick & Easy Tiedown!
Got 4 of these (along with 15" V-shaped sand stakes I already have) to help tie down a 16X10 nylon tent when camping along the beach. The winds are at a constant 15 to 25 mph there. At times, even stronger!I knew these came with cord, but I didn't know how much until after I got them, which is about ten feet each. Not much useable length there. No matter, I have several 25 foot paracords to use with these instead.****EDIT**** June 8, 2014After using these during a recent OBX camping trip, they helped keep my large tent strapped down to the ground during high wind gusts. At the campsite, there were several smaller tents around me that were either blown over OR...were in the process of being blown down, flapping in the winds. One clamp with paracord on each of the four sides of the tent with the sand stakes about ten feet away did the trick. There's not really any place to attach these clamps onto the tent, so I attached them high up onto the fiberglass shock cord poles.It's nice to NOT have your tent come down on you in the middle of the night, as did two other tents nearby me did! And let me tell you...they were NOT happy & were loud enough that other campers knew what happened!

Quick and simple way to take something down
This product worked better than expected. It is quick and simple. It is a little lite weight. It would be nice if it was a little more solid but it has worked well for quickly tying stuff down in my truck
