Original Wearable Chain Bicycle Lock

This lock is beefy. It’s a little tight for space when locking my bike up to racks, but that increases security, and I can still lock it to any rack I’ve been to. It’s pretty heavy, but I don’t feel it when wearing it around my waist. I find wearing it very convenient. I like not having a lock dangling off my frame or having to carry a bag for one. Although it’s expensive, my bike cost me thousands of dollars so this is a small price to pay for piece of mind knowing that thieves will likely pick an easier target when they see this thick chain and lock.

This is one sturdy lock and chain! I just used it for the first time, and as I put it on, I thought that perhaps the large, square plastic covering around the lock would be uncomfortable, but was amazed that I could barely feel it around my waist as I rode. In fact, when I got home, I stored my bike in the garage and wore the Hiplok into the house for awhile. I actually did not want to take it off! Although I couldn't really feel the weight, something about having it there must have felt good on my back. I just go for rides on the trail near my house, and haven't had any occasion to lock my bike up, other than in the garage. But I would feel absolutely confident that anyone thinking about stealing a bike would take one look at this and pass it up to find an easier target.

Great lock and chain easy to wear around most average sized waists could be longer for use on electric bikes but doable

I wanted to love this lock. Coming from a bad habit of locking a Kryptonite around my waist, after misplacing a key and nearly having to sleep with my lock on, I realized it might be time to move on, and bought this lock. It's excellent from a comfort perspective around the waist, and very easy to get on and off without needing a key, and the effectiveness is an added perk. Unfortunately, it's about two inches shorter than a standard chain lock, inflexible, and disconcertingly light - none of which are good things for a chain lock.

I find this product to be quite appealing, despite its slightly heavy build, it remains comfortable to wear around the waist without causing any discomfort. It is important to consider that the product may come with a relatively higher price tag, but it's essential to remember that you are investing in time-saving convenience rather than solely relying on security features. Additionally, I appreciate the added benefit of its potential use as a weapon if required.

This is still the best bike lock I have ever used. The function of being able to wear it around and not carry a backpack to hold a lock is great. Weight is ok. Not crazy heavy but I like the security. The only thing I wish is that it had a few more links added to it. The locking length is ok and I make it work but I have a mountain bike with wide bars. It limits potential good locking spots. Still like I said the best I’ve used and I would still buy it.

Il prodotto si presenta molto bene, ottima fattura. Il fatto che possa essere usato tipo cintura mi ha risolto il problema di dove ancorare la catena durante gli spostamenti, la uso per un monopattino. Il rivestimento della catena è bello e robusto. Ottima e molto utile la zona riflettente.

Sehr gutes Schloss, hat mir 5 Jahre lang in Berlin treue Dienste geleistet. Leider wurde dann das Rad inklusive Schloss gestohlen, die diebe nutzten einen Rohrschneider. Sehr ärgerlich. Ich kann das Schloss aber jedem nur empfehlen, trägt sich gut und hält was es verspricht
