A bit stiff at first
It's a bit stiff at first and doesn't want to close when you just pull the door, but it loosens up after a few weeks. The keys feel a bit cheap but the lock itself looks great and timeless. I've bought 2 of these and would buy it again when needed.

This lock fit perfectly.
We have a very old house. When the lock mechanism failed I did not think I was going to be able to find a replacement, but here it is. As an added bonus, it works perfectly and it fit!

the tumbler assembly pulled with the key out after only 2 months of use
this lock is trash, bought february 14th installed february 15th.. today is April19 and the lock tumbler came out with the key... was it easy to use, yes did it provide security while it worked, yes sure it had a great appearence what was the sturdiness and durability ?? AGAIN just over 2 months and it broke.. thats not very durable OR strudy in my book as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for

It will work, but is not great.
Got this to replace an old lock that was similar. The price was great. However, there were no instructions. It was similar enough that I was able to figure it out but not without issues. The key also doesn't work well with the two different ways that the lock can work but I found a way that works.
