It's not pro-grade, it's not a green laser but for its price you can't go wrong.
I was of the old school "use a spirit level" till I had builders in and saw how good laser levels are! I do quite a bit of DIY but not such that I could afford the likes of dewalt green laser levels etc. So I went with this from various reviews. For DIY and occasional use you can't go wrong with it. I have a cheap camera tripod that is years old but the screw thread fits the laser level so I can use it around the place handily enough and set it to the height I want without much hassle. It's great for many different jobs and whilst it is not 360 degree, its angle of coverage is wide enough that I can get my marks, then rotate it on the tripod for the blind areas. It's accurate enough for anything I've needed it for. Hands down it's was worth what I paid for it.

Very convenient and working fine
Having used a similar line laser from Bosch before (the cube), that costs nearly double, I was pleasantly surprised by this one, as it works better than the Bosch, and seems of higher quality. The magnetic foot is fine but you need a flat surface, so the magnet pull to the small soft pads. But the device has a standard tripod mount so can be conveniently placed on a tripod or anything similar. The line are clear and very visible, you can see on the picture with light off or on, and the levelling is great and is done quite quickly. Both lines go very far, where the Bosch was quite restricted vertically (due to the windows being smaller, which is also a plus for the Bosch, we will go back to that). Another good point is the clear indication when the device is not horizontal enough: the lines blink and the light on the device turns to red (see the video). Somehow the Bosch was blinking only when already horizontal and would not blink when reversed, for instance. As it's a cube, it would actually occur. Not a big deal but the Hychika does it better. The only point where the Bosch win is that the on/off windows is also used to protect the window, so if you want something you can throw in your bag, it might be better. But it also looks like it will break quickly (thin plastic), while this one seems very robust. Also of note is that the on/off button secure the internal lens for both (i.e. it does not move around), so the Hychika with a small bag will be fine. I was hoping for something working fine, but it turns out to be a very good levelling laser, so happily surprised. Crossing fingers on the longevity, and it will be perfect!

As expected
Very similar to other inexpensive ones, but a bit cheaper. Works great for my purposes.
