I like this gate because it is heavy enough that my dachshund can’t push it.My husband has back problems and this gate is tall enough that he doesn’t have to bend over to adjust it.

I bought two of these gates, plus the support feet as a separate purchase to stabilize them (Primetime Petz Support Feet). We purchased two stabilizing feet per gate. I’m very happy with these gates! We use them to keep our four dogs out of the carpeted area near our couch. They work great and are easy to maneuver to the side when we are home and want to walk through. All four of our dogs are grown so we have not tested them during puppy phases when they are more reckless and destructive. They look great and match our decor. Very satisfied with this purchase!

I like the hight but it moves too easy, k recommend getting the attachable feet things.

I purchased this for our dogs in our travel trailer and it's a winner!! I did not want my dogs to be able to jump out when we opened our trailer door. So I use this as a gate and we open or close 1 section as we go in and out !! It makes camping so much better and safer. It's heavy duty and stands well on the floor as well as they can see out the screen when the door is open. Easy to fold and put on bed when traveling!! I also love that it's usable without having to be screwed in.

Pretty and sturdy but out 20 pound golden retriever puppy figured out how to move it aside very quickly and get upstairs. We just bungied it and are hoping she doesn’t figure out how to move the other side, doesn’t look as pretty anymore. Too expensive to not be perfect.

I mean who really want's to buy a gate for their pet? It's not at the top of many people's lists...am I right? So I have a small pet and I wanted to give her more freedom but after 4 different gates in 7 years I had already given up. That is, until I saw the "Internet's Best Traditional Dog Gate". Now before you get bored and switch off this review I need you to know that I don't have a dog...nope! I have a pet chinchilla and if you know anything about them it's that they are quick critters that can leap great bounds. Like I said before, it's been a long 7 year journey to find a gate that my chinchilla Jake can't both leap over and squeeze between the rails. At first sight this gate my look like little more than just that...a gate. Behind it's white matted wood exterior lies a world of adventure for chinchillas and other small critters alike. You may choose to gate off a small corner or a kitchen but at the same time you are creating a magical space for your small buddy's mind to roam free and explore foot by foot of linoleum flooring or plush carpet...can you really put a price on that? I did...and it was the best $74.76 I spent!!

I am really pleased with this gate. It is heavy-weight enough that my 35 lb persistent hound puppy can't push it out of the way to get into the living room. The 2 footing inserts give it good horizontal stability. I use the regular old plain wood ones to keep her out of bedrooms etc, but this one looks so much nicer in front of the wide opening into the LR, especially since guests see it as soon as they come into the front door.

This is the second gate of this kind that I have purchased from this seller. The first was a 3 panel 36" gate which was great for the space I needed to block. I was so impressed by the quality that I wanted to purchase another one but in the 4 panel 24" option. Unfortunately, when I went to order it was out of stock. I tried a different type of gate that advertised itself as similar (different seller) but when it came it was awful! Not even in the vicinity of the quality and durability of this gate. This is the best looking pet gate I've ever seen. It truly is the best thing I've found. Not only is it nice looking and sturdy - but the weight of it makes it unmoveable for my pets. On a side note - this is for 2 cats (one is 16 pounds which is bigger than some small dogs) but you may need a higher gate for larger pets. That being said - the weight of the gate is still outstanding. Be aware of this! I did find someone selling this exact gate on Amazon for a ridiculously low price. It turned out to be a scam as I never got the gate nor did anyone else who purchased one. Amazon was AWESOME in getting my money refunded - but just careful if you buy. The real thing is worth every penny- don't be fooled by fake sellers.

This is a solid sturdy wooden gate. Looks much better than traditional stair gate we were using before. Very versatile, heavy to move but that’s the whole point, it shouldn’t be easily knocked over. Only had it a few days but so far so good.

Only used for a couple of days but impressed with the sturdiness. The white colour works well in my house and our new dog seems so far to have accepted it as part of furniture

Excellent quality,heavy wood with a nice white finish, high enough to stop my bigger dog from jumping over and very useful to use in my hallway to stop my little dog attacking the letterbox when the postman comes. I use it like a gate and it's easy to open and close as its sturdy and stands well on its own .

I am very pleased with the gate , it arrived the next day and fits perfectly, stopping my Australian sheperd from climbing the stairs.
