The curtains provide some blockage of light but are more on the decorative side than complete room darkening

Are these the same color as the “neutral” bedspread with the 20” ruffle ?

I got the ivory color, so I’m not sure it matches the bedspread.

Do I need to also buy a curtain rod?

Yes, this only includes 2 curtain panels. They fit my existing 1.5" diameter rod.
