I felt it is light weight. Would not suggest if you plan to fix a light and softbox for heavy use in front of client.

I am super happy with this light-weight stand. It exceeded my expectations for the low price. I'm using it with light-weight cameras (Brinno, Insta360) for panoramic and time-lapse photography. It's ideal for me as I don't have to worry about leaving an expensive tripod outside for long periods. Build quality and finish is good. The adjustment clamps are simple plastic. So care needs to be taken not to over-stress or over-tighten. My camera set-ups weights are up to 500g and the stand handles this well. I use a make-shift sandbag tie down if the stand is being used outside and fully extended. If you are looking for something that is low-cost and lightweight, I would highly recommend. If you have a more substantial camera or heavy lights etc, you probably need to look at a more robust stand. Carry case is a bonus. Well done Amazon for another Brilliant Basics

This light stands are very good and stable budget stands for beginners and budget buyers like students or new starters of video or photo shooting. I will say that the quality is superb at this price and after examining it, I feel it should last for more than 5 - 6 years if used judiciously and delicately. JUST GO FOR IT GUYS! Excelente producto en relación calidad precio. Claro que hay que cuidarlo y seguro dará una larga batalla yo ya lo utilice en una sesión en exterior con un speedlite y una sombrilla de un metro con forro reflector en interior (buen peso). Solo hay que tener cuidado por que un viento muy fuerte y si se va abajo. Sinembargo a diferencia de otras opiniones yo no veo porqué no aprovechar lo ligero y práctico que es para llevarlo a sesiones en exterior; siempre con sus precauciones.
