I bought this when it only had one review so I was worried about how good it would be, especially since it was a lot better deal than other brands (and those had very contrary reviews). But the price was good and I wanted one with the coating on both sides (to double its lifespan). This build plate has been fantastic, I was using glass before and had to use glue-stick, which had to be cleaned off and reapplied regularly due to the dust. I always had to pay attention to the first layer to make sure my print was sticking. With this, I can pretty much hit print and forget. Everything sticks great, and comes off easy thanks to the flex plate. I can pull the plate off as soon as the print is done and it cools off fast. Gone are the days of cleaning the glue-stick off, using a razor to try to get my prints off the bed. This has been a huge upgrade for my printer! I do wish that they sold a version with a textured and a non-textured side as for some things a smooth finish would be desirable. I do like the textured look on a lot of my prints and it pretty well hides the layer lines making my prints look more like professional products.

Got this for my ideaformer pro, works great. In the box I got the pei textured double sided spring steel bed and a magnetic sticker. Got it put on the printer, leveled the bed and got a print going, First try I got a good print. I love the textured bottom the prints get, they look really good. Prints stick well and when the bed has cooled down a little bit they come off easily. PEI coating is consistent, you can’t go wrong with this bed. best price I could find! Update 1-5-22 still amazing and works great! Red prints are current results

I bought this because the glass bed on my anycubic mega wouldn’t hold anything, and it works solid every print. I like how the magnet sheet isn’t overly strong like the Oem one on my other printer, so it’s easy to take off to wash, and super easy to re-center. You need to be careful because it ads a few mm of height, and if you Print things that go all the way to the edge, they could fall down the side and ruin the print, so you’ll need to rotate It.

I have used sticky-backed PEI sheets for many years but this is my first spring-steel sheet. I stuck the magnetic base to tempered glass and have had 100% successful prints using the sheet. I have the textured version and the texture is mild - not as aggressive as the pictures may suggest. Prints pop off nicely and the sheet seems sufficiently durable. Very impressed for the cost. Now if only I could find a 400mm sheet that didn't break the bank.

It is short in both dimensions on my 350mm bed. I think usually the sheets should be a little larger, like 355 each side or something like that. Despite this, they grip fantastic and have not had any delamination issues. Make sure to wash with dish soap before first print.

I have been using a glass bed with good success. I just didn't like the smooth finish on the bottom and being able to see print lines and imperfections from the glass. I attached this bed (without clips. Big advantage), re-adjusted my z gap and wow what a difference. The prints stick very well and leave a nice textured finish. I'm not entirely sure why, but my prints are now cleaner with less oozing or stringing. I did a small stringing test and was blown away with the near perfect results. The only reason that I can think of is that this bed maintains better heat control from the bed and allows filament to cool quicker. I have not made any other changes other than re-level the bed although it was already fairly level.

This turned out to be a fantastic idea for this 3D printer enthusiast. I have a Ditto+ kit that still works great after many years. Went through a lot of painters tape changing projects. It says the surface of this works with PLA filament but I found that it didn't stick and now I cover this plate with painters tape and because I can remove the plate and bend it to release the project, I use a lot less painters tape and it makes setup and teardown much quicker than before.

At first I gave it 4 stars because I had problems with prints not sticking unless the whole first layer was perfect. After multiple month of use I can now say that I love this product and it works even better than when it was new. Maybe I got the twist or maybe the surface had some persistent substance on it. Prints stick well on the build plate and pop off by themself when they cool down. I greatly recommend. The picture is PETG at 0.25mm layer 40mm/s. No warping at all despite all the sharp(ish) edges.
