3M Adhesion Promoter 111, Clear, 250 mL Bottle, Fast-Acting, Quick Drying

VHB was already the champion of refusing to let go. Then I added 3M Adhesion Promoter 111 and apparently created a permanent treaty between two surfaces. I changed my mind about the placement. The tape did not. A scraper, several tools, and some increasingly creative vocabulary later, the bond was still winning. Five stars, but measure twice.

I have a Tesla Y dual motor long distance. I have added all sorts of "enhancements" to offset the cheap design shortages - movable screen, splash guards, cockpit enhancements, top-of-steering stalk charger, rear LED lights for rear tow patch section and other rear lights (which has saved me from one rear-end collision due to bright attention-grabbing strobe effect I am sure - the guy behind me pulled into the left-turn lane beside me and we met eyes). I installed a set of the neoprene gaskets to reduce dirt penetration and noise but the attachment failed in many places. I ordered this product, and spent a lot of time using goof-off to remove every bit of old neoprene. I then used 99% ethyl alcohol to remove all residue of the goof-off.. I then liberally used this product to coat the metal of the Tesla where the new neoprene gaskets were to fit, and I went wider just in case. After several weeks I can confirm that the new neoprene is holding fast just as it should, thanks to this adherent. Many suppliers give little pledgets like alcohol swabs of this 3M solvent chemical - buying this is far better value if you are serious about making an install bulletproof. I recommend this product and would buy it again. Oh, and yes, the Tesla has been even more quiet as a result. Even if you don't have a T you would be good to use this to apply any neoprene gaskets in any vehicle, or doors of your house, or window gasketing of neoprene material.

Excellent product. I use it anytime I need to mount something. I wish I knew about this years ago. This bottle is a much better value than the single use wipes. I think this will out live me

Great stuff I used it to attach some fender flares to my offroad rig, cleaned both surfaces (fender flare and body planes) sandwiching a 3M double adhesive tape and they're are glued there, not even mud, heavy rain or rocks have made flimsy. Definetly will use whenever working with double adhesive tape

Did not come with directions. Had to Google them. I went with other reviews of using this with double sided tape because when I was washing the bottom of the shower door to replace the T seal, the entire metal bar came off. It looked like glue strips had been used, but I could not find local double-sided plumbers tape near me. I hope this holds up in the shower.

For my purposes with EVA decking to gelcoat, 3m #94 primer was much better... If you can't tell from the datasheets which one you need, #94 is probably better if you are looking for a strong bond. this is probably more appropriate for sticking to painted surfaces

This is THE product for installing emblems and adhesive trim if you want them to stay put forever. Prep is key. Don't get it on any part of the paint that will show. Easy to use (disposable foam applicators are perfect for applying) and lasts forever. I've been using this for many years, but always the individual wipes. This little can will probably last me a lifetime.
