Broke first time tried to use. Plastic junk.
Even though this can opener has the same Zyliss name as one I had years ago, this new one is a piece of junk.The hinge that joins the two sides together is made from a brittle plastic. It broke into separate un-repairable pieces the first time that I went to use it. Even though I tried to contact the seller, I was not able to obtain a refund. It is too much hassle to drive to the nearest Amazon drop off depot to try to return it, so I am out $23.Do not purchase.
