Seiko QHL062Y Digital Alarm Clock Yellow

Love it! The plastic on this clock is superb - solid, thick, and perfect yellow. Print, on/off alarm switch is high quality. I found that during daylight the very faint non-lit yellow LED digits are actually quite nice. At night it is also good - I can turn it on when I want to look at it - and then it goes off. When the LED is lit yellow - there is light bleed through on left and right side - and that cheapens it a little bit. if you want it to stay on at all times - then you can get the 5V lead. I would have loved to pay more for a more liquid crystal LED - but then it wouldn't really be visible at night... so the current form/design is I think a excellent balance for a personal desk/bedroom clock. I do recommend it - after tens of cheap silver/black plastic electronic clocks that break fast and are just fugly... this thing is really a thing of beauty. Extra bonus pleasant/fun points if you run track.

First and foremost, I bought the clock knowing the legibility wasn't very good (dim reversed LCD) until you hit the light button. The light is nice and bright. But I am not going to ding it for the legibility as is. Its a very nice looking desk clock that the rest of the family wants to grab it all the times. I think this is a must have for Seiko fan. It has alarm, stopwatch and timer. The operation could be easier because it only has three buttons in the back to work with. But you can get by. I am running enelope batteries with it, and so far it works well. I will have to see how long would the batteries last for a single charge. Setting the watch, like the other operation, is not the easiest because of the buttons that we have to work with.

Not easy to figure how to operate.

This was a gift for my husband and he’s so glad to be able to add it to his collection. He has it on his work bench by his tools that he regularly uses in a safe spot that really looks nice. Came much quicker than originally said. A great find!

Returned as it had a cheap look to it

Very bright and good looking when plugged. The only drawback is that it does not memorize the data when unplugged even briefly, even if it has a battery...

It does not stay visible until you push the top button..No way I would have bought if I would have known..It just sits there and looks like a broken clock. I could have just bought a broken yard sale clock if I just wanted to guess the time without walking accross the room.

Not much to say, very cute little alarm clock. Sadly you can't adjust the volume and snooze is only 5 minutes. It is smaller than I anticipated but who cares. It's cute and proudly serves it's purpose!

Esthétiquement pas mal,pied en acier.Ce qui me plait c'est que la nuit il est discret(les chiffres ne s'éclairent que si on appuis sur le bouton du dessus)donc fonctionnelle pour voir l'heure la nuit.Bouton off-on derrière pour l'alarme.IL ne fait pas radio réveil.Mode d'emploi en français. Satisfait de mon achat. Possibilité de l'alimenter sur secteur,mais il faut trouver le transfo!!!!!

Works as advertised, apart from that the product is a true icon in its design that harkens back to the day Seiko was the official timekeeper of the Olympic games. I love to have it on my office desk as a horology aficionado.

This is a nice little clock but the display is not very good. It does feel solid. You buy this for looks and not for function.

Good little alarm clock! You can remove the legs and just have it as a very boxy alarm clock too. The beep is loud and annoying in a get-you-out-of-bed way, especially if it's across the room. It beeps once a second, four times, before launching into the full alarm, which gives you a chance to freak out, leap out of bed and stop it in time. The design is a lot of fun, down to using a '.' separator instead of a ':' before the seconds. My only small issue is that the backlight doesn't stay on for very long, and it's totally impossible to see the time in the dark without pressing the button.
