Will these work on liberty 1-1/4" overlay face-frame hinges from Lowes?

No. They are specific for Blum hinges. How do I know? Friends have tried mine on their Brand X hinges with no success.

How many angle restriction clips do you need for each door?

We've used these on several cabinets. I believe you are supposed to put a restriction clip on each hinge of the door you need to restrict, but we have some that only have a clip on one hinge and it's worked ok.
