Great Key bed feel. Lots of functions.
Great MIDI controller. The keybed is excellent with very good touch, weight and size. Will be getting another one. I prefer the white version because the keys are labeled with the extra functions where the black version, the labels are missing. If they make this controller in a 76 keys or 88 keys version, I will buy them for sure!!!

Big learning curve, worth the price
I got this to use with FL20 setting it up was a pain, once it was done I couldn't be happier with it.

Could Use Some Improvements.
The drum pad is a bit harder to the touch, but that's not a big issue. I'm constantly having to restart my ableton software because the code 49 freezes it up somehow. Also had the stuck key issue when I first started messing with the keyboard, but it has since gone away. Another issue is that this model DOES NOT come with the setting indications per key. With the white version of the 49, the keys that affect settings are labeled. On this one, they are not. It would be nice if they at least had a sticker to attach above the keys so we could know what keys affect what settings, but they are unable to provide anything like that (I already got in contact with them). Also the quality of the XY pad could be improved! Overall, good product!

Great value
I bought this for my 20 year old son to practice on for his church band, he loves it!

Faulty item
The keyboard does not work, I bought this item used (unfortunately) and the display screen just showed all X’s. Then all the other buttons for the faders and other parts of the keyboard simply do no work. Also the middle C of the keyboard doesn’t work. I wish amazon inspected these devices before putting them for sale. The keys felt great and I would definitely buy it again but would just be aware of buying used items from amazon again.

Solid keyboard, nice layout, dodgy software & support
I've had a pretty good experience using this keyboard for Mainstage and Logic over the past week, with a couple issues. It's pretty quick to set up for basic keyboard and drum pad use. The keys feel decent, weighty and springy, plastic-y.. The dynamics can be a little jumpy, making it hard not to have occasional notes not sound at all, while others can be unexpectedly forceful – less smooth and natural than other keyboards I use. Similarly, the percussion pads take a pretty good pop to sound, so there's a bit less finesse possible than on some other systems.Cool layout – I like having the drum pad close at hand and the pitch bend and mod wheel further up (because it isn't the 1980s and no one pitch bends, I hate that thing). The controls all have a nice quality feel, particularly the mod wheel (that's OK to have) and the plastic build of the board seems OK for the price point. It has 8 good, soft rubber feet spread across the bottom, nice for desktop use for for placing on top of a grand piano. The included USB cable is about 5 feet, connects to old familiar "A" USB ports... might want to toss a USB-C to USB-B "printer" cable in the cart before you pull the trigger.Mapping knobs and sliders in both Mainstage and Logic is pretty hit-or-miss, super tedious at best – it would be great if there were more auto-mapping of controls. Logic does pick up the sliders for mixer control, and the transport controls. It's handy to have quick access to a record button and playback. The knobs and buttons need to be manually mapped and settings seem to have a hard time sticking. The X-Y pad can be mapped in some interesting ways, but it's tedious to make work and seems jumpy once assigned. M-Audio has clear instructions available on their Website for connecting to Logic and other software.I had no luck installing the included synth software. After creating an account and fighting a buggy password strength checker, the software installed pretty quickly, but then reported some sort of database error with the included license key and would not allow the software to open. After several days, M-Audio has not yet responded to a support ticket. Even if it had loaded, the software is limited to one computer . So, unlike Kontact or Arturia or others, don't buy M-Audio for the software! And M-Audio support appears to be very slow at best. So, cool little board.. great low price, decent feel, not a lot going on the software side of things.. but gets the job done.

Fantastic!
Daughter loves it! Hooks right into her Mac and so much easier for her to create the music directly onto the laptop.
