Works when needed, helps on slopes, but understandably does add a little weight

Works good,highly recommend to loosen collars and align saw blade so it's as straight as possible and resecure or will vibrate and not cut properly.

I needed this extension pole to allow me to use my new EGO Power+ power head with hedge trimmer attachment to trim some hanging branches that were about 10-15 feet above the ground. Because of the terrain I couldn't use a ladder, and this looked like a good choice. To keep down the suspense, I'll start by saying: Yes, it was a very good choice! This is a simple extension pole made specifically for the EGO Power+ power heads. It was packed in a simple box and came at an attractive price. Putting it to use was easy--take it out of the box, line up the arrows with the power head, snap it in. I attached the hedge trimmer, then tried it with the brush cutter. Connecting and disconnecting the attachments were simple and quick. I was a bit surprised at just how much reach I got from it. Once I attached the extension and the hedge trimmer, The tool was about 9 feet long. I was able to reach the high limbs with no problems. The extension had no problem transmitting full power to the heads. I would have preferred that the extension be made of carbon fiber. That would make it lighter and stronger, and make it match the power head. Not a big deal, and I wouldn't trade it in at this point! I'm happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone who needs to add some reach to their EGO Power+ tools.

I purchased this extension for an EGO POWER Multi System 56-volt 10-in 2.5 Ah Pole Saw to increase reach. The net increase is approximately 24", accounting for the length of insertion into the power head and pole saw attachment. The extension is sturdy. The camps and attach latches are solid, fit and finish is excellent, and there is no problem with the center drive mechanism. The extension is light weight and has virtually no impact on balance of the saw in use. The heaviest part of the saw is at the far end battery, which make the saw steady and easy to control.

USE THE EXTENSION ON THE WEED WHACKER TO TRIM UNDER BOAT TRAILERS AT MARINE REPAIR SHOP. DO NOT HAVE TO MOVE BOATS. EXTENSION GOOD WITH LIMB AND BUSH CUTTER. SO QUIET CAN USE AFTER HOURS W/O BOTHERING NEIGHBORS. CHAINSAW WORKS AS WELL AS GAS. NO CARBURETERS TO CLEAN EVERY SPRING. BATTERIES ARE EXPENSIVE. USE LEAF BLOWER DAILY TO CLEAN SHOP. NOW THEY NEED TO MAKE BACK PACK GARDEN SPRAYER FOR FERTILIZER AND WEED KILLER. MAKE A TROLLING MOTOR FOR CANOES AND KAYAKS. POST HOLE DIGGER FOR FENCING. TRANSFER PUMP FOR GARDEN POND DRAINAGE. NEED HEAD FOR WHACKER THAT HAS PLASTIC BLADES FOR THICKER WEEDS. TABLE SAW? JUST SAYIN' BEST GARDEN TOOLS I EVER BOUGHT. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. WILL BUY MORE

This EGO extension is very light weight and a great value for your money. Having an extension for my EGO makes height to reach branches a lot easier without getting on a ladder. It has been very durable without any issues. Very easy to use and perfect size. They also have the carbon fiber available.

Does as advertised. Gives you and extra bit of reach. I wondered why there wasn't a longer extension but now that I've used it, I can see that the weight of the saw on the end of this length is about as much as you can comfortably swing around.

Helpful extension. Kinda expensive though
