Quite a transformation with our Cockapoo who got very excited when visitors arrived, jumping up and barking etc.We have genuinely used this twice and the dog has remained quite calm since. We only have to show her the tin without using the spray and she remains quiet and keeps paws on the floor. So far so good, it worked for us!

I was very sceptical about this product, seemed too good to be true, however, it really works. Used along with treats/rewards, it does the trick. Only issue is that the makers do not give any real guidance on how to use it (in their video the show you how to press the button!!!, oh wow). But, there are a few vids on Youtube that give you some good ideas but remember, all dogs are different.

Effective in stopping reactive behaviour each time we come across another dog on a walk. A quick burst of this calms my boy who doesn’t like the sound of it.Not to be pointed at your pet though. The contents expelled are freezing cold and could be an irritant. So I spray up or behind us.Could also be used to deter aggressive dogs in which case I would spray at the animal.Loses a star as it’s more expensive than it should be in my opinion.

It works, if you use it sensibly. It's very expensive for what little you get and those are the points that are going to prevent this item being a 5-star item, I doubt it will ever happen.The 30ml can works out at 21.6 pence per spray. That doesn't sound a lot, but when you consider the 30ml can gives you only 30 sprays then it is expensive. I think if one 30ml can was going to solve your doggy problems then you shouldn't really need to buy it anyway. Patience would be cheaper on your wallet and better for the dog.Having said that, does it work? Yes. But you really need to be using it with care I think otherwise you could end up with a pup with some psychological problems. Please don't just use this item willy nilly.I was in the middle of training and my can emptied. I went straight onto Amazon and ordered another. it can take up to 5 days! On top of that the second can still hasn't turned up, but a replacement was put in the post for me. My main problem is, I've lost all the momentum of training and will have to start over again.Anyway, I'll update things when my replacement can arrives and training continues.I'd like to give it 5 stars, but I just can't.

Use it as described on the label, spray Away from the dog as soon as it does something naughty -- jumping up, stealing things, barking unnessasary etc. Do not over use it ! and not on young dogs, because it might make them nervous, and you Do Not want that. That said it has been a life saver with our over excitable Cockerpoo. He is a very confidient dog so we thought it was ok to use, spraying away from him when we could not stop him jumping up and pulling our clothes putting holes in them, also with the Daughters and grandchildren. He would Not listen to commands, (we have had 3 other dogs before him--all well trained) but he was SO head strong. We saw many trainers incase we were doing something wrong ? but the ONLY thing that has worked is this spray ! like it says it is a natural product because in the wild that is how swans etc. make warning sounds to warn other animals that what they are doing is not acceptable. I have wrote this review in hope it helps other people who like us was at the end of their tether, pulling their hair out as what to do next. We always have a can handy only use it when nessesary -- and now we only pick the can up, and it work immediately. Hope me taking the time to write this helps someone who was struggling as we were ? the only negative to report is it does not last long, But it is worth every penny !!!! Marjorie, Good Luck x.

When receiving this item I used it for the first time and noticed that the can was not sealed. I did not have to press it firmly to break the seal. However, I didn't really think much about it at the time. It worked very well for about the first six or seven times but then the spray became very weak and I realised that the can could not have been full when I received it. The product description says that a 30ml can should provide around 30 sprays. I did follow the instructions and only sprayed it in short bursts. Having said that, it was very effective for those first few sprays and I tried not to use it too much in order that my dog didn't get used to it. But, as the spray became weak it stopped being effective at all and ran out after approximately 10 to 12 sprays. I have looked for contact details for the seller but cannot find any. For that reason, I can only give it one star. If the can had been full, I would have given it a lot more.

Worked a treat, our dog can’t work out what happened & it stopped her in her tracks, Perfect. Will tell some other dog owners about these they are Fab, they work a Treat & you get 2. Give them a try, I’m sure you won’t regret it. Hide it behind your back & have your finger on the correct place & have it pointing in the right direction so it doesn’t go where it shouldn’t & watch your dogs reaction. I didn’t know about these, saw the Dog Expert using it on a Dog to distract him & thought that’s just what we needed for our Dog 🐶 & bought it.

Bought this item as my dog was constantly barking Always wants something thrown for her ball/ stick and basically just barking from the moment I put her collar on until we come home. I had started hating going out with her and me and my husband constantly arguing when out as she was the only one barking Used it for the first time whilst I was putting her collar and lead on and she immediately stopped barking. Went for our usual walk which was so quiet she was constantly looking back for re-assurance. Had a lovely walk. I decided to push and take her to the beach which I had stopped doing. Had to use it once on the crossing then had a really pleasant walk along the coast. No barking. Today we went into the country I had to remind her once with the finger as she was going to bark but then stopped Threw her ball NO BARKING !!! It’s a miracle I have no other words

All my dogs behave better. It’s the sound they don’t like it.

I’ve tried the devices that make high pitched noise and those did nothing (tried 2 or 3 different styles and brands), finally tried these and they immediately caused my landlords big dogs to stop jumping on me. It just lets out a sudden burst of air with a kind of hiss sound and it freaks them out and they stay away from me. It only took one time and they remembered it and are slow to approach me and now I can walk to check my mail without getting trampled. I love these things! I had grown to dread checking the mail because I just get bombarded by these dogs and I’m small, but now I can go out there with one of these and feel confident and comfortable. I haven’t gone through a whole can yet. I’ve had them for months but since the dogs remember the experience, I don’t need to use it every time. I’ve probably only had to spray it ~5 times since I purchased about 5 months ago.

Every dog owner should have one

I have a very barky Aussie Shepherd. If you have one of these very intelligent but very vocal dogs, you know what I'm talking about. I have spent so much on training - just time and money over the years. This is the first thing that has ever worked, no kidding. I wish I knew about this 5 years ago. It does make a short, loud SHHHH and my dog did not know what to do but be quiet. It's worked really well when he's barking at pretty much nothing outside the window, when I'm trying to relax after playing with him, a day's work, playing with him some more, and a walk. Of course, the moment I sit down, he starts barking at me and this works well for that too. I've actually got into a point where all I have to do is just hold up the can - I don't even need to expel anything. This is also worked strangely well for recall. My dog's smart guy, the problem is he's too smart. And recall doesn't always work for him because that means no more fun in the backyard, but man, I fire this thing and he comes running. Of course we're in a contained backyard and he's barking at the dorky looking hound next door that just glares at him and doesn't react back. But my guy is a high strung guy and has to bark at him anyway. One fire of this and he will actually come back from the dorky next door neighbor dog. There is no odor and trust me, I have hyperosmia, I would smell the tiniest of anything and I don't smell anything at all.

This stuff really works! My husband and I can't believe a can of air can have such a positive effect on our 7mo puppy!We've been having barking issues with our puppy, a whippet/red healer mix. She barks at anyone who walks by our home on the street, our neighbors, and don't get me started on visitors. Our poor visitors. When we have people come over she begins to bark and literally won't stop, ever. And she has one of those high pitched barks that stings the ear drums. Although she is very well trained with the typical tricks, extremely smart, very good at listening and learning, and amazing with us and our kids, she gets so involved in her barking when others are around that she won't listen to us, no matter how sweet or stern we are.So, we decided to try this air in a can, and good gawd, this stuff really works!!! She begins to bark and we do one quick press on the can and she immediately stops barking, and shifts her attention to us. Giving us the ability to teach her no.She could be outside, a good 20 ft away, barking through our fence and with one press of this can, she would immediately stop barking and come directly back to us.It has only been about 3 days that we've been using this product and her barking issue is already 80% better.If someone knocks on the door, she'll let out one bark, which is completely acceptable. When we answer the door, she no longer barks at the person outside.We have not yet had a guest over to see her reaction, but I think we're on an amazing road of getting her barking under control.The price seems a little steep for some air in a metal can, but you do get two, each can has 50 shots of air, and with the response we're getting from our dog, the pricing has been completely worth it for us.It's a painless and easy way to train and/or correct puppy issues.
