Osprey Stratos Men's Backpack, 24L, O/S

Bought this for day hikes and it's been great so far. The first thing I noticed was how comfortable it feels, even when it's loaded up with water, snacks and a few extra bits. The back panel keeps some space between the bag and your back, which helps when you're walking for a while.I'm quite particular about how things are organised, and this bag has enough pockets to keep everything where I expect it to be without feeling cluttered. I don't like digging around for stuff, so that was a big plus for me.The build quality feels solid, the zips are smooth, and it doesn't feel cheap at all. The rain cover is handy too, especially with the unpredictable weather we get.It's not the cheapest backpack out there, but after using it I can see where the money goes. Comfortable, well made, and easy to live with. I'd happily buy it again.

Really like it:Osprey quality with pockets galore!There’s a little weight to it given the frame I suppose however it allows the air to circulate and is very comfortable.In summary, it did the job beautifully for a day on the North Downs Way this week.

Very comfortable to wear and back system stops any dampness from perspiration . Nice hip belt keeps weight away from shoulders . Only negative I have is that pockets on hip belt tend to rub on arms as I’m walking so don’t use them . Recommended

As always with osprey, a great back pack. Been on many hikes with this now and it’s super comfortable.

Bought for my husband for Christmas. It is perfect to take on walks, he was really happy with the gift. I have an Osprey bag & love it, both have air vents on the back to stop you sweating on long walks which makes a difference, highly recommend

私は夏以外の山に毎月2回程度登ります。標高は300～1100メートルで、行動時間は２時間～6時間です。モンベルのガレナパック20を13年間使っていました。年齢を経ることによる体力の低下、熊スプレーなどの保険的装備により、重量を感じることが増えました。ショルダーベルトが肩によく食い込みます。他のザックを探していました。ストラス24を冬山5時間歩きで使用した感想は次の通りです。①重さが分散される　☆☆☆☆☆ガレナパックを背負うと、その重みは重力よろしく真下の地面に向かう一方で、ストラスを使用すると（ヒップベルトを締めたうえで）、重みが腸骨、腰、背中に分散され、重さをほとんど感じず、ショルダーベルトが肩に食い込みません。ショルダーベルトはザックの背面と私の背中に密着させることに重きが置かれています。ヒップベルトはクッション入で、腸骨を明確に包み込みます。驚いたのは、下山時の膝の痛みが減ったことです。②多彩なポケット☆☆☆☆☆これはよい！と思ったのが前面中央にある縦型ジップポケットです。今まではレインウェアをザックのメインポケットの底に入れていたのですが、このポケットにレインウェアを入れると、簡単に取り出せる。また、最上部のポケットは折りたたみ地図やモバイルバッテリー、財布などが容易に入る大きさで、実に使いやすい。③レインカバー☆☆☆レインカバーは専用の下部ポケットに収納され、下部ポケットと十文字で紐づけされています（写真）。紐づけされているので、レインカバーをザックに装着しても、強風で飛ばされることはないと思います。その上で、ガレナパックと比較します。ガレナパックにはレインカバー用の凹ボタンがショルダーベルトに、レインカバーには凸ボタンがあり、これをはめ込みます。また、レインカバーと専用ポケットをプラスチックでカチリと止める仕様です。ガレナパックのレインカバーは稜線の強風でも、吹き飛ばされない強度を持っている。ストラスの場合、ザックの金属フレームにレインカバーをかぶせるだけです。下手したら、強風がレインカバーを飛ばすんじゃないかと心配性な私は思ったりします。⓸背面の通気性☆☆☆☆☆ガレナパックを背負い続けると、汗が背中に広がり、乾きません。ザックを下ろして、休憩を取る。そのあとにザックを背負う。冷える！冬山なんかではこれが冷たくて仕方ない。ストラスにはこれがありません。ザックの背面→10センチの空間→メッシュという構成なので、背中の汗は乾きます。⑤その他背面の長さを自分好みに調整できます。チェストベルトに笛が付いています。ロードリフターストラップがあり、背中とザックを密着させられます。縦型ジップポケットの真上に小さいジップポケットがあり、重宝します。サイドポケットの高さは25〜28センチで、ストックやサングラスケースの収納に適してます。結論☆☆☆☆☆購入して、よかった。必要な機能を高いレベルで詰め込んでいて、開発者たちは多分、山登りが好きなんだなと思います。非常に優れたザックです。

Not for me. 182 cm gym build. Digs into the traps even after adjustment. Also bag feels alot bigger the pack capacity. Very long and narrow. Compared with my zulu 40 and feels almost as big. Getting the zulu 30 instead.

Le sac est un petit peu encombrant pour sa capacité, en tout cas plus haut que je ne pensais, mais tout est parfait. Qualité des fermetures éclair, qualité du tissu. Bonne conception avec des poches bien placés etc... Il est léger et confortable. Bref c'est parfait.
