I received this a week ago — last Thursday — and it’s already completely falling apart. I will be retuning this garbage.By Monday, after using it for just 3 days, the pin had already worked loose from the hinge that the ring moves on, causing the ring to flap uselessly. I used some pliers to force the pin back in, which scratched the hell out of the paint.3 days later, today, the pin has worked loose again. Again, I used pliers to force it back in, scratching it up even more.At this rate, the pin will eventually be working itself loose every other day, or will just fall out and get lost, and meanwhile the whole thing will be rusting due to the fact that most of that paint has been scraped off.In short, this is expensive garbage. Do not buy.P.S. — the magnet works fine, which, who cares when the rest of it is junk

I absolutely LOVED the idea of this, a MagSafe ring that I can take on and off easily. And while the magnet is decently strong, I’ve literally only had it a few weeks and it’s hella discolored (black rubbed off and now it’s silver) and the ring lost its tension so it’s just flapping around everywhere and doesn’t stay put. Pretty disappointed especially considering the price.

It is a magnetic magsafe compatible ring. It is strong enough for your needs. My only gripe is that the ring is slightly too small and thin, however I have large fingers.Like with all magsafe items, if you push the correct way, it will come off.

It’s a good magnetic ring for the iPhone but the phone falls off easily. It does the job though. Wish the magnetic was a little stronger.
