Good enough build quality and accuracy. They are not perfect precision instruments, but neither are they meant to be. Most useful for a quick measurement on a nut/bolt head or a shank or hole. They do not lock in any position, so some dexterity is needed. All said I would recommend adding something like this (yes, there are other similar options) to every toolkit.

The good:• Decently machined and finished. Smooth sliding. cleanly stamped scales, acceptable accuracy. Not intended as a lab instrument!• Vernier scale permits interpolating to the nearest 0.1mm.What could be improved:• Jaws are machined to also measure inside diameter, but there's no machined tick mark to read it directly! So you have to read the outside diameter tick mark, then add 5mm. Some competing versions have two tick marks, "In" & "Out". Not this one.• Scales are labeled "inches" and "meter". Obviously, "centimeters" would make more sense. Or "imperial" and "metric".Overall, decent pocket tool for quick measurements. Decent value.

Compared them with my good digital calipers and they’re within a 0.1 mm or so. That’s good enough for quick and dirty sorting on the workbench. I was brought up using verniers, so this is a piece of cake.

I bought these and misplaced the first set I bought. I’m sure the first purchase will show up. But this is a nice, quality gauge and you get 2 gauges included in the price. But I guess this is one of those items you can never have too many of.

They do the job, and if you know what you’re doing, they can be handy; however, they don’t have markings to differentiate the inner diameter. Material is just okay but I wouldn’t count on these things lasting very long. Decent buy but there are better ones out there.

The description says this is a pack of 2, but I only received 1.It's a little rough, it needs some burnishing and a little filing to smooth the action.It will do what I need.

Lost the one I had and these were the exact replacement. Easy to use and read in both SAE and metric, inside and outside measurements.

Only measures mm & inch, not ligne measurement as expected.
