The product was great and easy to install. I did mistakenly damage it being a butterfingers, and needed a replacement, but to no fault of the seller. But now I know where to go when my daughter cracks her ipad screen. Saves me a ton!

Updated review. The night after installing my daughter (whose iPad this was for) said her keyboard was not working. After troubleshooting, found there was a 1/2 inch strip longways in the screen that was un responsive to touch. The screen also felt like static was always on it. I tried sever tips to remove the static which did not change any behavior. The next day she plugged it in and the screen started to freak out like it was being touched constantly. I couldn't even turn it off since it would not respond to my touch. Item is being returned. I also noticed while uninstalling the screen there was an odd, what looked like bubbling around the entire edge of the screen. I tried my best to capture with a photo.

Very easy installation along with the video is very helpful. All tools included. A must buy.

Screen came well packaged and as advertised. It took me about 3 hrs to replace the screen. If you do not feel comfortable working with small and sensitive electronics than maybe this is not for you! By far the hardest part was to remove the broken screen, which was primarily due to the bad quality of tools included in the kit. Overall,I think if better tools were included, I could do the job much better and faster, eliminating a lot of the risks for irreversible damage. Instructional video was good but I had to watch different videos on YouTube to get everything right. I also swapped in the original touchID button which seems to work. So far everything seems to work properly and sensitivity is comparable to the original. Certainly saved me money, but was laborious to replace. Giving it 4.5 stars due to flaws in instructions and poor quality of the tools that make replacement harder than it should be!

Great quality. Video instruction is clear. Installation is smooth. The only drawback is: I forgot to use my own home button, so no Touch ID anymore.

Great quality screen

My husband and I love this iPad replacement screen that we used on his 9th generation iPad. The new screen had a new home button included on it & included was the small tool kit need to replace it. (Heating device not included. I used a hair dryer on low heat)We feel this is a higher quality screen than the fix-it stores use. I followed a step-by-step video that I found on YouTube. I highly suggest watching the video or a couple of videos a few times First. I then played and paused the video step-by-step to replace my husband’s horribly cracked and broken screen.His screen was so shattered that I had to layer, clear, packaging, tape, side-by-side, barely overlapping to cover the entire screen so that I would not get any cuts on my fingers. I got absolutely NO cuts at all while removing his screen! It is very important to carefully heat the edge of the iPad screen as you release the current adhesive and by using the tools provided in this kit. I used a hairdryer (heating device not included) on low heat, one small section at a time as I worked to release the edge with the tool that is Provided in the kit for the edge. I didn’t have to work hard to preserve the home button on the original device because the home button was on this screen that I purchased from Amazon.Don’t doubt yourself, have patience, and take your time to replace your own iPad screen, and save over $75 from these high dollar fix-it places!The new screen works perfect!
