LOVE this Piano - for Kid AND Husband!
My husband plays keys, so of course we got a little piano for our 14mo old to introduce him to music. But the sound quality of this piano is fabulous! We lived in a small apt for the last year, so my husband has to keep his keyboard stored in the closet. He would literally practice on this little piano or just play a line when inspiration struck. And anytime my husband played, my son would jump on his lap and they'd play together. Many sweet memories made for the 2 of them together. It has gotten a lot of use and taken quite a beating. It's not quite as in tune after a year, but for a 2 year old, it still does quite well.

Sturdy and well made.
Small but sturdy toy piano. I purchased for my 1 year old grandson and he seems to love it. The keys are similar to a pianos keys. It is quite loud! This is not electronic and mimics a real piano. I noticed that my grandson (just learning to walk) would lean on it and I worried that it would flip but I was happily surprised that it held his weight. Would recommend.

Another Melissa & Doug Favorite!
Several months back I purchased this for my Grandson, but accidentally had it shipped to myself. Unfortunately he lives out of state, so it wasn't until he came to visit recently that he was finally able to play with it. His Mom had said that he loves anything musical, so I was confident that he would love this and I was right. So far I haven't found anything that I don't like about the Melissa & Doug Learn-To-Play Piano, so I'll just tell you what I do:~ Painted bright colors which kids seem to be drawn to.~ Very well constructed. It should last for many years with normal wear and tear.~ Suitable for a wide range of ages. My grandson is 18 months now, but I could definitely see him enjoying this up to ages 4-5.~ Sound is nice and not too loud. I can't say that it is in tune, but this Piano is just a toy after all.~ Reasonable at the current Amazon price, even though I purchased it for much less through a 3rd Party. In addition I would also highly recommend the Melissa & Doug 60-Piece Standard Unit Blocks for any child that likes to build and stack or the Melissa & Doug Deluxe Wooden Chomp and Clack Alligator Push Toy for little ones learning to walk.As for my grandsons piano it is packed and ready to be taken with us when we travel in December to visit him. After seeing how much he enjoyed it, he definitely deserves to have this at home with him.

Terrific For Baby's First Instrument
I purchased this a couple weeks ago at bargain price, $35, for my 10 month old grandson. I am a piano teacher, so I am apt to be more critical than the average purchaser. Upon reading reviews of complaints about a bad paint smell, I just decided that I'd better remove the plastic from piano to allow it to air out before Christmas. Removed plastic ; no bad smell at all. Smells fine, like new toy. The keys produce a xylophone type sound, not representative of a real piano, but having proper pitches so a young child can learn interval relationships. Charming, and ideal as a first instrument. The only thing I spotted is a ding on the left front wooden piece just left side of keys ; perhaps 1/2 price due to being factory second ? However, I will put some non-toxic wood glue in the spot to protect it from breaking, and dab on a tiny bit of dark blue non toxic paint, and voila ! Not a problem. Worth $50, maybe not $70 full price. I would say it is too small for a toddler, but my baby grandson will be tickled.

My baby loves it and has for months now.
It’s one of the first things he does every time he wakes up is go play his piano for a few minutes- he’s just over a year old and obsessed.I do have to say it’s the worst sounding piano ever made on this earth. But my son loves it so here we are listening to the best worst music ever haha

and I found this for a great price. I cannot say enough about this little ...
My son loves music. I was looking for a gift for him for his 1st birthday. I had seen this at a toy store for a much higher price, so I came home and looked on Amazon, and I found this for a great price. I cannot say enough about this little piano. It is perfect for little fingers. It can also withstand little hands that my play the keys too hard. When my son first saw this, he couldn't contain his excitement. He loved the bright colors and playing the keys. There are two full octaves on this piano. The sound quality is pretty good, some of the keys can get stuck, but they easily release. This also comes with a little songbook. This will be great to help teach my son to read and play music when he gets older. I know that this is a product that we will be using for many, many years to come. I love Melissa and Doug products. They are well made, and they don't include annoying lights or robotic sounds. I see myself buying another bigger version in the future when my sons balance is good enough to sit on something unassisted. This is perfect size for a sitting infant/toddler. This was a great value and seems to be well worth my money. I highly recommend this product.

My daughters favorite 3rd B-Day gift
My 2yr old daughter saw this in a toy store and begged for it for months for her 3rd birthday. We thought the novelty would wear off, but she continued to ask for this piano every time anyone asked her what she wanted. This was one of the first gifts she opened and she immediately wanted it out of the packaging so she could play a little tune. Then, after she opened each gift, she would stop and go back to the piano and play a little excited for her gift tune. It was so funny. She's had it for over 2 months and she still plays with it pretty much everyday. She doesn't get how to play the songs yet, but she enjoys sitting and listening to my attempts at playing the songs. After reading some reviews, I'm careful to not carry it by its top, but honestly, I have found it to be very sturdy. Nothing has broken and all the keys work. One key on the end kinda sticks, but overall it is a fantastic little piano. My daughter is very rough with her toys and has not harmed this piano at all.
