Really great quality, for a really low price.
I am a UPS driver. I walk 20,000 to 25,000 steps per day. It is really hard to find shoes that can survive the abuse my job puts on them. I recently decided to switch from normal walking shoes to boots because I have bad ankles. I am always scared to spend too much on shoes, because I have never found any shoe, at any price, that lasted more than six months. The last pair of boots I had were twice the price of these ones, and the entire sole peeled off after 3 weeks, but these had good reviews, and were very reasonably priced, so I decided to give them a go. (The dark brown ones). Straight out of the box they were probably the most comfortable pair of boots I have ever owned. I thought I was going to have to break them in for a while, but that was no problem. Also, the ankle support is superb. After a month, or two, each shoe started to show a small gap between the sole and the shoe near the ball of my foot. But I put a tiny bit of shoe glue in there, and it hasn't been a problem again. Right now, I have been wearing them every day for 3 months (or at least 1.3 Million steps), and they seem like they will probably make it another 3, at least. That's probably about as much as you can reasonably ask for boots that were under $70. One other note: they are supposed to be waterproof, but I haven't really had a chance to test that out here through the bone-dry, Salt Lake City summer months. But if they last into the winter, I will give an update on that. Update: The total durability wound up being about 7-8 months, or about 3 million steps. And, even at seven months they were still waterproof. They could have probably gone another month even, but the soles were getting pretty thin, and I decided to get a new pair for winter. I ended up getting the dark black this time, which seems to hold up better in terms of appearance. They were not as comfortable, out of the box, as the dark brown ones were, but still pretty comfortable, and broke in quickly. Also, whereas the brown ones seemed very breathable, and cool; the black ones seem to be much warmer, so they work out better for the cold weather, and snow.

Helps with my bad stride
Buying shoes is a struggle. Finding a product and your size is a problem. Online is hit or miss. The Free Soldier hit this one out of the park. Comfortable, light and a great fit for mowing and yard work. And quickly they have become my everyday shoe. Tried many "walking" and "running" shoes to address a supination stride issue and still get a sore hamstring muscle. Not so with these: shopping, chasing the grandkids around the yard, etc and no pain. A great value for the price.

READ THE DESCRIPTION, IF YOU HAVE SKINNY FEET, GO A SIZE DOWN
My only real gripe is partially my own fault for not reading the description in its entirety down to the VERY LAST LINE. It clear as day says that if you have skinny/narrow feet that you should order a size down for a better fit. If I had read that I would have gotten a 12 instead of my usual 13. Even still after lacing they still fit decently enough to keep. Even with that, pretty comfortable even before break-in. Laces are easy, ankle support is good, nice texture, color and look pretty decent on the outside. Quality is pretty ideal for the price point. Can’t get a whole lot cheaper, but they could be way less comfortable. No input on durability yet, but the build seems nice, doesn’t feel cheap. I’m on my feet 12-14 hours a day and travel 5+ miles any given day so I’ll update my review after some time has passed.

Super comfy, true to fit and actually waterproof
I am 5'8, 160lb and I bought these shoes for my bugout bag, I got a size 9 and they fir perfect, super comfy and true to fit. These boots are much more comfortable than I expected. I can't attest to the durability of the boot just yet as I just got them. They are waterproof as advertised, I haven't fully submerged the full 8 inches but trudging in this puddle for 30 mins my feet did not get wet. For the price im giving these shoes 5 stars, they're much more comfortable than I imagined, fir perfectly and are actually water proof so for 60 bucks they are exceeding expectations. Great for a bug out bag, shtf bag or just an affordable waterproof tactical boot. I'd buy them again.

New work boots
Initial review, laced up nicely didn't have to light every eyelet like some boots. Boot tug was larger than my finger on these. I've bought far too many that you need a hook to pull them on their so tight. These will actually need a breaking in period. Time will tell on the durability and water proof...

Quality boot well worth the money!
I bought my first pair (on right)of theses 13 months ago. I have worn the living crap out of them. In the snow, mud, dirt, rocks, and through shallow creeks. My boots usually don't make it 6-8 months before the sole start separating or seams start coming apart, but these, wow just wow! They are very much still intact. The soles are getting thin, but they are still wearable. They're comfortable, light weight, extremely durable. I liked them so much I bought 2 more pair, because it seems like when I find a really good product, they discontinue making it. I've had tac boots that cost 3 times as much that didn't last half as long. Update : Just got back from a public land elk hunting trip. The Irish setter boots I took out there to hunt in started coming apart after 30 some miles of hiking in 2 days. I wore these the rest of the trip and put about 65 miles on them in the next 6 days. They held up perfectly. Although the foot bed wasn't as comfortable as the setters, they did the job. Thankful it never got super cold though as these are not insulated.

Eh, mediocre quality not really worth the money
Not the greatest quality. I bought these March of 2025. I work armed security and am sitting for well over half my shift, so it isn't like I was putting a lot of strain on these. After 11 months of owning them, the outside sole of the right boot began detaching, and now, as of April 2, 2025, I am still using them but it has gotten to the point where I have about a week left on them before they are unusable. Disappointing when I paid sixty bucks for them, yet a twenty-five dollar pair of Interceptors from WALMART lasted me for just over two years working overnights at a convenience store during which I was almost never sitting, and was constantly walking, bending, lifting, etc. A pair of combat boots should last two years minimum, absent EXTREME use. I wouldn't recommend this product unless you are made of money and want to buy a new pair once per year. If so, then go ahead, because the one good thing I can say for these is that they are quite comfortable.

Great boots at an outstanding price.
These boots have been comfortable from the first time I put them on. They're not loose around the leg like others claim and there's more room to make them tighter if I wanted. Had my first day of milsim use with then and I did not rush home to take them off, they're still on while writing this review. During play it didn't feel like I had a brand new pair of combat boots on at all. The leather is sturdy enough to withstand a direct fire shot at 1.8joules, not even a dent in the leather. I will be purchasing more of these boots in other colors too. Only complaint I have is there seems to be an excessive amount of extra material along the tongue, it can bunch up if you don't take a extra second to make sure it folds right after you put it on. No water on the field today to test the waterproofing. Edit: after a full season of airsoft, 2 months of work. These boots are holding up great! They barely show any signs of wear, still super comfortable. Everyday I've worn them I end up wearing them all day long until I take my shoes off for the night, they are that comfortable. Highly recommend these boots. On a side note, not resistant to gasoline. I stepped in some and could feel the tread become very slippery, I cleaned them off immediately and there was no longterm damage, but that could have been different if I didn't clean them off quickly.

Buenas botas
