With previous blade replacements, I only replaced the blades and kept the existing foil. This time, I bought both in a package. It works well. My only minor gripe is that the foil assembly makes a "squishing" or "crunching" type noise sometimes when pushing it against my face. I don't recall that happening with the original foil.
