Yes you can ask the saler for help. They are very kind to give you a replacement or refund.

Is there a difference in the quality of the water?

Are you able to share the water pH result tests before and after using the shower head? Trying to assess if there is an improvement softening the water. It will very nice to include a pH band meter on every box so customer can brag about the great quality of your filter (just a suggestion) ;)
