High Luster, 1/2" Reflective Tempered Fire Glass in Cosmic Copper, 10 Pound Jar, by Celestial Fire Glass

We recently purchased a 42 inch fire pit . At the same time from another company I purchased recycled fire glass in the color "coffee ". After putting it together and seeing that it didn't have much of a shine after dark, I heard about reflective fire glass. On Amazon I discovered Celestial Fire Glass High Luster 1/2" Reflective glass and purchased two 10lb jars of "Sunstorm Gold" and one 10lb jar in "Cosmic Copper." I removed the old glass and gently poured in the Celestial glass carefully mixing the different colors together. Then I added enough of the old glass to give more color to reflect off the Celestial glass. The look is more alive looking especially at night achieving the result that I was looking for. Friends and family love it. The quality is good, the colors appear as in the close up pictures on Amazon. The dark and light colors give depth, color and a realistic look as the flames bounce and reflect off the glass. Really pretty. Attached are a couple pictures in the daylight. I thought I had one at night, but it looks like I don't! Hopefully this helps you in your decision making. I'm very pleased with Celestial; the packaging was secure keeping the glass from chipping and I received it all in two days

This looks so much better than the old lava rock in our natural gas fire pit. The color and reflection make for a beautiful fire, and looks great without a flame. Plan on using about 2" or less in depth. I crushed the old lava rock into smaller pieces to use as a base for the glass. I also needed to build small cages (2" x 2" x 1-1/2" H) out of steel chicken wire (I found heavy wire with a 1/4" square pattern for this at Lowes) to place around the ignitors and the thermocouple. The glass us not porous like the lava rock, so the cages are necessary to assure enough air surrounds the ignitors and thermocouple. I emailed the company for support, and they were quick to respond and provided good advice leading to these cages.

We like this glass because there are all different sizes in it and it is a beautiful color. Make sure you rinse it well and let it dry before putting it in the firepit so there is no residual dust keeping it from be as shiny. We used one and one half containers for our pit which is 32" square and it filled it to the desired height, without covering the little square gas outlet (for safety) and just barely covering the burner, which is proper.

Great product looks fantastic. Ordered a second bottle and it came extremely dirty. The bottle inside the box was covered in dust and dirt and the glass was as well. Wish I could give a 4.5 rating knocking a half star for making me clean the glass right out of the box as I'm guessing I got someone's used glass they returned but it did clean up fine.

This fire pit glass is beautiful. Beyond our expectations. Took a customer's advice and added the cosmic copper to sunstorm gold. We could not believe how much this changed the appearance of our fire pit look. We have a propane fire pit and the flame is more enhanced now that we have removed the lava rock and replaced with the glass. The mirrored side of the glass looks like diamonds sparkling with the flame.

I bought several brands to check color and quality. Celestial fire glass is by far the best quality, cut, color and size. I absolutely love this. Don’t waste your time looking at other brands not easy to ship these back. I bought the cosmic copper color. I did rinse them with water and let them dry before I put them in the fire table.

These stones upgrade the look of my fire pit completely! So happy with the colors they offer. I bought cosmic copper, but they offer a ton of other choices.

Love these in our firepit - we have a small square one and 1 and 1/4 container was perfect!

Do not order from amazon I spoke to the manufacturer who says it is shipped around by amazon and risks being broken into little shards. My jar of cosmic copper is absolutely rubbish. Tiny broken pieces of glass. I'm trying to find out if celestial fire glass will deliver for a direct order. 1 star because you can't put no stars. They won't deliver to UK, so in short you take a risk of getting rubbish broken glass that you have to put back in a sweet jar to send back to them.
