After having back surgery I knew I would be spending a lot of time in a recliner. My son recommended this tray table and I am so glad he did. I like that the cup holder and utility tray are attached to the tray, but do not take up space on the tray. The cup holder will hold all sizes of cups and is deep enough that they will not tip over. There is plenty of room on the tray for my computer. It is sturdy and I can move it in and out of position easily. I can even angle it into a position that works well when I have my feet up in a reclining position. I have been able to work on my computer while sitting comfortably in my chair. My son put it together for me and it was completely assembled and ready to use in about 15 minutes. My recliner has adjustable legs so it was easy to make everything level once the tray table was in place. The tray can easily be raised or lowered as to your need and sitting position. I also like that you can turn it 360 degrees and place it right beside the chair like an end table when not in use. It can be placed on either side of my chair and there is even a separate place to put the TV remote. I love this tray table! It is sturdy, attractive and very functional. It is everything I wanted and needed. I highly recommend this product!

Works perfectly on our standard type of leather chair. I only gave it 4 stars because one securing bolt won't fit properly but it doesn't affect the use of it. The table has a good movement range and the handle to help my wife stand is such a great feature.

I bought this tray to support a laptop fan that was too narrow to put on my lap. I didn't expect it to be so nice! It was easily assembled by my son and was installed under my lift-chair, which holds it securely in place. The tray easily swings in and out for when I use my laptop. The side tray is great for my cell phone and glasses. The cup on the vertical support can easily hold a couple of remotes. I didn't install the cup-holder due to space constraints, but I do wish there were more placement options for it. The top hand grip is great for stability and helps me get up out of my chair, in fact, I hardly use the lift anymore. A bit pricey, but worth the money.

For my use, it is for my 91-year old mom who spends most of her time in her bedroom watching TV. She even usually eats in her room. I had an old computer keyboard/accessory tray which I used for her eating tray. I needed something which she can move away from her own when she's finished eating and wants to go lie down or go to the bathroom, etc. The computer tray worked ok as it was on wheels, but since the tray tilts (for keyboard use), sometimes she put too much weight on the tray which would tilt it sideways and things could fall off the tray. I was looking for something similar when I came across trays which instead of rolling away could pivot 360 degrees out of the way. I was almost ready to buy one when I found this one. It is significantly more expensive than the other similar rotating trays, but what caught my eye was the dimensions of the tray. This one is 20" x 15" which is 2" longer than a similar tray I was considering. I wish it were even slightly longer as when she is eating, she may have her main dish, a side dish, her drink, her utensils, etc, so at least it was a larger than the other trays. It does have a separate cup caddy, but unfortunately, the mugs she uses for hot tea is barely too big for it. In addition, it has a caddy tray on the side, which is great because she is always misplacing her remote. After I got the tray, I was impressed with the quality. It seems very durable. The other trays may do this but I was impressed that the tray pivots 360 to allow her to move the tray out of the way, but the tray itself rotates 360 too. This means when the tray is moved in front of her chair, if the tray is at a slight angle, it can be turned to be straight in front of her. In addition, the tray itself can be tilted. Overall, even though this one is more expensive than other similar trays, I (and my mom) are very pleased with the purchase. Regarding improvements, I would like this product even more if: - The instructions were a little more detailed, but it wasn't that difficult to put together. - The tray were even slightly larger - There would be a type of tablet caddy which would be able to act as a tablet stand.

I have absolutely no doubt that the company is proud of their workmanship and they have a right to be in almost all areas. The bamboo tray is gorgeous, the mechanism that swings the table back and forth works wonderfully. My laptop fell off and hit our tile floor and came apart once. A nice low edge around all the 3 sides of the tray area would have prevented this. I took off stars for the height adjustment being so hard to work with. I'm unable due to RA to adjust the height on my own so I sat where I needed to use this, on our couch, and had someone adjust this, actually try to adjust this to the height I needed it. I am 5'2 inches and there is no happy medium in the height range for me. The image in the product info shows a rather tall male and perhaps that should have been the first hint. The second time we tried to adjust this the adjustment button broke off and either fell into the pipe or flew somewhere we haven't been able to find. I wanted to return it at that time, but it was a gift from my daughter and she is determined we will make it work. The beautiful bamboo tray does not fit everyone, especially if you need to use a mouse and can't use a trackpad. I am one of those people who can't use a trackpad. I also have vision problems which means I need a laptop with a larger screen. I asked the person who takes care of my computer needs about sitting a laptop flat on the bamboo top as shown in the product info and he told me that is absolutely not okay. Laptops can overheat and can possibly cause a fire. So I ordered doorstops to put under my laptop (this was after my laptop fell to the floor). I would have happily forgone the tray on the left for pencils and the like for an extra 2 or 3 inches or more of bamboo tray space to fit my laptop and mouse on. I believe the company wants to create a good product for seniors. I wish they had taken into account those of us who aren't typical seniors. There are a lot of seniors who lose height with age, who lose vision and strength with age. There are also a lot of seniors who are not as svelte as they were in their younger years. I wish I could wholeheartedly recommend this beautifully build table to everyone but I can't. I recommend it with reservations.

I bought this for my 89yo great aunt about 2 months ago. She had a stroke several years ago that has left her mostly paralyzed on one side. She spends most of her day on her favorite couch , which is confirmed to her body and comfortable, but saggy enough now that her hips are below her knees when she tries to get up. She ends up relying on her caregivers to pull her up and swing her to her chair, which is unsafe for both of them. I bought this couch cane to see if it might help her get herself up by giving her something to grab onto with her strong side. She LOVES it! The swing table is the perfect height for her to eat at her couch. It swings 180 degrees and she can move it wherever she wants to do puzzles or eat supper. She loves the cup holder, which keeps her glass where she can see it and safe from being knocked over by her or the cat. We have the cane in the right-center of the couch so she can use it with her right (strong) side. The grip on the cane is wide, but that seems to help as she can use it to both pull herself forward to get started standing and push herself up to get standing tall. She says, It isn’t very ladylike” when she goes from seated to lying down as we have to lift her legs over the top of the cane, but it’s totally worth it. She is feeling slightly more independent and is using more of her own strength to get up and down, which we hope will help her preserve her strength as long as possible. She tells us how much she likes the couch cane every time we go down. Fantastic purchase.

I found this product to be unsatisfactory. The base legs are too short to insert under either my recliner or the couch next to it, both popular La-Z-Boy brand products. If positioned right against the recliner, the holder on the vertical shaft presses into the front edge of the recliner, threatening to damage the expensive leather. only by angling the stand I was able to get the rear stand leg under the recliner pedestal but even then, the tray table is unstable and wobbles side to side. I would not buy this product again nor would I recommend it to anyone else.

I like the table, but it took me many attempts to get it assembled right. You even have to attach the plastic tray to the table piece. If you want the cup holder, you have to attach it as well. If you don't mind putting it all together, then the assembly will not be a problem for you. Since I had to put every little piece together, I think it is overpriced. Quality is good. Functionally, I love it. I use the table whenever I am sitting in living room for many activities.

Likes : Nice bamboo top. Easy to assemble. Functional. Dislikes : Plastic cup holder looks cheap, Does not fit my recliner support legs properly due to my recliners steel support. Vertical stand shaky despite fastening the screws. Some scratches on plastic parts.

Got this for my dad’s 80 birthday and he used it every day. It’s easy to assemble and very sturdy. It has a 360 swivel which is easy to move out of the way. He often has it positioned by the arm of the chair as a side table.

The table is the size they say but bigger would be better. The storage attachment is not that useful. Hard to get at. The side attachment is great for a remote for a TV. Put a plastic cup in the cup holder to hold eyeglasses, pen etc. I put a rubber slip proof mat on the table. For elderly persons articles slip around on the smooth table. The table has a slight tilt that you need to press on the right side by the handle to straighten. Not a big issue. The handle for getting up works really well. Over all works for what we need it for.

Bought it for my Mom. She absolutely loves it. Very sturdy and easy to put together. A bit heavy to move around but that's what makes it so sturdy to use. I never have to worry about her falling. Table top had a major scratch when I received it. Company sent a replacement very quickly. I was thoroughly impressed with the customer service.

Bought this for my mom and right out of the gate the instructions were off. Had you using tools that were wrong for the parts required. The table could not be levelled, the grip stand was missing parts, the entire stand itself was wobbly. The feet spacing could not go any shorter to fit under the power recliner. The whole thing was tippy. Once a chair leg was on it, the other side of the table feet lifted off the ground creating an unstable use for anyone to safely use. Maybe I got a dud as the reviews here are what caused me to purchase this. Sending it back today and so disappointed.
