Wow. This book is packed with great information on the real Thanksgiving. Not the fluffy version they teach in school, but the actual facts about how things happened. There is so much great information in here. I think it should be added to everyone's Thanksgiving book reading list and all libraries (including home ones). We are doing a study in our homeschool of Thanksgiving and the reasons for people leaving England so long ago. I think it's something so important for children to know and study.

We read this book with our kids the week before Thanksgiving. It was very easy to read, had great illustrations and contained a lot of details about that time period - not just about the first Thanksgiving. They loved it! We have already recommended this book to others.

Exactly the book I was trying to replace. It has great fun facts about Thanksgiving, that I always liked to have at our Thanksgiving table to occasionally tell my guests about.
