How difficult is it and how long does it take to assemble/inflate? ...and to disassemble/deflate? We have to pack it down for our road trip.

Not too long once you get the hang of it. My 9year old daughter did almost everything last time we put it up (including all the pumping).

How long is the chafe pad (aka- black top strip) where a frame side rail would sit? 78" or 82"? Thxs!

It will fit 86 maybe an 88 if you have it right at the longest part of the where pad. You can also buy extra where pad or just cut your frame poles to make it custom.

Yes, we added an NRS stern seat mount to our nrs 82"x 66" frame, then also bought the u-style motor mount. You can't add a motor without a frame.
