With accessible wording and exceptional illustrations, writer David Sloan and illustrator Oshadi Sandareka have created a charming record of the author's own arrival on Earth. Sort of "How I Met Your Mother" meets "Starman." For kindergarteners. Without the romance. ~~ That will come in the next volume, when Frank grows up, we assume! Having bought two copies, sight unseen, I was very pleased to be richly rewarded with a relatable short story; engaging, hand-painted artwork, and an ISBN that includes all of my favorite numbers! There's a lot to love in this little book and I sincerely recommend it! Highly! ~ 'So very high!!

This book teaches children to be empathetic and can start conversations about diversity. Frank being a Martian; can also stimulate a child’s interest in the planets and solar system. I loved the overall message and sweet story. As a teacher, I definitely see myself using this book in the classroom.

A sweet story with beautiful illustrations about how it feels to be different and accepting others who are different. Bought this for my granddaughter and can't wait to read it to her and talk with her about thisimportant message.

I bought this book for my nephew for Christmas. He absolutely loved it. He said he can relate to Frank The Martian because it can be scary making new friends.

This sweet book became an instant favorite for my kids (ages 4 and 6). The story is heartwarming and the illustrations are fantastic. I highly recommend it for kids of all ages.

Frank the Martian is a nicely illustrated book that shares a great message about inclusiveness and friendship. This has quickly become one of our daughter’s favorite books!
