Tales From The World

Going through a series of amazing stories written by creative author Mrs. Geeta Ramanujam was a feast not only to ears but a jolt of experience. One of my favourite story in the book was ‘on the wings of a storyteller bird’. This is one of my favourite poem which comes in the book: ‘rest for a while now the night is young, time is short and the road is long, tell me a story I will sing you a song, for tomorrow the road will be calling us home. There is immense depth in the poem, that it takes you to another world. I recommend this book to all children and youngsters, who are still hooked to the fantasy world. I myself was fascinated by the stories that I couldn't stop reading. I just wished the authors creativity would come true in reality. Thank you for the autograph in the book Geeta Ma'am.

Just loved the book as a whole and thoroughly enjoyed reading stories from different parts of the world. Some stories tickle our funny bone, some teach us the important values of life while some teach the importance of each and every being on earth from a tiny insect to nature to humans etc. Everyone, from kids to adults will enjoy reading this book as we also get to know the culture of different regions of the world.Through her stories, Geeta Madam takes us to the country and the background where she experienced them, created them or heard them from the people belonging to that region. The stories have been written in very interesting manner as they include songs, dialogues and colorful illustrations which, make them come alive. All the wonderful stories in this wonderful book really knows how to deliver the raw emotions. These stories will have u taken a back while reading .Her story gives life to all the characters.One of my favourite stories in this book is ’on the wings of the storyteller bird’It is a very touching story.It shows the beautiful concept of friendship and spending time together.This is such an amazing book,written by an amazing person that you have to read.

This is a must-have treasure chest! These are very unique stories collected from around the world by an actual and veteran storyteller! One can say it is Geeta Ramanujam’s life work as she has travelled and met and talked to hundreds of worlds storytellers and grandparents and folk people! And it is indeed gracious and generous of her to share all these stories in her with the world!The book is itself perfectly designed with adequate illustrations and v good print and a perfect size.

Good stories ! But long ones ! Can only be read out to kids ...
