After spending way too much time reading reviews and comparing products.I bought this vent hood fan. With so many out there it was really hard to choose. I'm really happy that I chose the one I did. The vent hood arrived in very good condition.No scratches or dents. It works great and moves a lot of air. It has 2 lights on the underside, which are wonderful at getting just that little extra light while you're cooking or using as a night light. I also like that it has five little buttons that let you turn on the light and the intensity of the air suction. My old one, you just had to keep clicking 1 button until you got to the setting you wanted. Also, even knowing it has very strong suction, the noise level is not nearly as bad as many.I have heard. My husband was able to install this himself with no difficulty. I feel like that.It was a very good value for the amount of money that was spent. Because of the nature of my cabinets and the hood vent, this item cannot be seen by other people.But I feel like that.It has a very sleek design and that it does look very nice inside of its spot. I would recommend this product to others.

Easy to install and has worked great in the 3 months since install. Noise level is acceptable as we installed it in a custom built hood. Buttons are simple to use.

This vent insert worked perfect in my new remodeled kitchen. Very streamline. Love it! The fan is a little noisy on high but at low and medium sounds fine.

Didn’t give it 5 starts because of the color temp of the leds they are 6000k and should be adjustable Other than that it works great But a little noisey Great value for the money Controls are easy to navigate Installation wasn’t as simple with the acres around the trim instead of in the middle like the other one I had but I took a little longer to make work

I was skeptical about waving my hand to change fan speeds, but it works reliably. When my hands are covered in flour or sauce, I just swipe near the panel. No smudges on the stainless steel either. It's a small thing, but it makes cooking flow better.

Easy to install, and it worked great when we used it. I installed it by hanging it from fixture chain over my Blackstone griddle.

The fan is strong and reasonable quiet for the airflow it provides, and I love the mechanical pushbutton controls on the 36" unit I chose. There are warning labels advising you to remove the protective film on the main unit as well as the 3 aluminum filters that cover the openings. I suspect the films would scratch easily so I followed their advice to remove the films. I've removed hundreds of protective films, which usually takes no more than a few seconds. But the glue was so sticky it took me an hour to remove the film on the main unit. The filters were even worse. The front and back of the filters were wrapped in film before they were riveted together so removing all the blue film is somewhere between difficult to impossible. There is no reason for them to do this. It took me 30 to 45 minutes per filter! Who has this much time to waste? I often marvel at the hubris of the manufacturer that doesn't video someone trying to install their product. If they did, after listening to the first hour of cursing they would have known something was wrong with their process. If removing the film does not deter you, I would also warn you to beware of the template provided to simplify cutting the opening in the cabinet. It's a great idea to provide the template, but the template provided was for an opening 26.8" long (presumably for one of their 30" models). So after cutting according to the template I had to cut a second time for the proper size (about 7" longer). Perhaps they don't make this mistake often, but still you would want to check the dimensions before cutting.

Only reason we didnt give it a 5 because of the difficulty removing the plastic wrap. Insane!!!

Was installed Dec 5th 2025 - it’s been 4 weeks all is good - only wish the led lights were changeable to soft white - but all in all great - had a vent hood built
