Works!
I've had this sort of wood shaping tool previously, but this set is better-made (feels more sturdy in the hand) and works as expected. It includes a variety of cutting heads that I'm presently using to add decorate details to some cherry boards I plan to use to make picture frames. I can recommend this tool set as a worthwhile addition to your woodworking kit.

Not perfect, but an absolute problem solver
First the meh. The sharp edge of the 'sole' can leave a line that has to be sanded out in softer wood. The blades were sharp enough to do a good job with the grain but chattered cross-grain leaving little ridges. Both of these issues took about 3 seconds to fix with a fine grain sanding block. The wooh! Is this saved tons of time over grabbing a router to round over a quick job. Also safer and easier to handle small parts. Very satisfied ultimately. 5 stars based on value given the cost.

No longer disappointed (Revised review)
Original Review: Really wanted to like this product. Was excited to try it out as soon as it came and the first use was unfortunately very disappointing. Chatter on hardwood and tear out on plywood. Even taking very shallow passes. Looking closer at the why, the chisel bits (ALL of them) came completely and utterly dull! Some edges were literally round! Tried to sharpen them using the Work Sharp 2000 that gets all of my chisels and plane irons super sharp, to no avail. While the straight chamfer bit will get sharp as you can sharpen both sides of the edge, the soft iron of the bit will not hold an edge. Think overall plane design is good, quality is ok, but the cutting bits are just useless. Am returning the plane. Update June 2025: Saker entered in contact with me due to my poor review and offered to "make it right", i.e. send me another chamfer plane. Fine with me and I tried it out just like the first one: tried out all cutters on hard and soft wood. This time, I will say, the cutters cut a LOT better. The first plane I tried must have been a lemon. So both chamfer and round-over bits actually cut and chatter/tear out was at a minimum. The paint still came off and stained the wood, but a) that can be sanded out and b) that problem will go away with time. So overall a much better impression and I am likely to actually use it going foward, particularly if a router can't be used due to space contraints. What I am not sure of is how long the bits will hold an edge and when they are dull, how to sharpen them. I'll have to figure that one out. Thanks to Saker for proving to me/all of us that their product actually works and for wanting to do the right thing by sending me another plane to try.

Plane
Very good and versatile product - like all planes it needs sharpened before use

Good idea, poor craftsmanship - completely dull tools.
Wanted to like it, but can’t. Good idea, poor craftsmanship. All tools are so dull that they only gouge the wood, then stop abruptly - longest cut was only 1/4” and it looked horrible. Also, half of the tools were chipped or nicked on the cutting edge - that would leave raised marks. Save your money.

Wished for more.
Disappointed, this looked so great at first glance and that was it. Wanted to use it on a table and chair I was making and found the blades dull out of the box and making nicks in the wood as it wasn’t a smooth run despite even pressure. Maybe the blade isn’t held tight, don’t think I could have got it tighter though. I shouldn’t need to sharpen these out of the box? Needed to pivot and scrap the use of this. Also the back side looked cheap and mottled with uneven application of the paint which just made me wonder about the over all quality. What are all these bumps? Just annoying. Going to look at some other brand and let Saker keep this one.

Not very adjustable
The idea behind this is sound, but the knives are not adjustable enough. They will only pull back so far into the base, which leaves you with a chamfer that is about 1/4 inch wide. I was envisioning able to adjust the knives from a zero depth of cut, but that is not the case. The quality of the base is good, it just is not useful for small chamfers. Edit: I had the blade in upside down. I have changed my rating on this item.

Worked well!
It's not sharp out the box, but once sharp really works nicely. Great on MDF but wouldn't use it on pine or hardwood. If you don't have a router really good solution and if you do it takes 20secs to put a good chamfer on. Definitely worth the money and is actually a quality product. There is a few on Amazon and this is the best one!
