I’ve been really happy with this purple shampoo. It does a great job helping reduce brassy, yellow tones in my blonde hair while leaving it feeling clean and soft. After just a few uses, my color looked brighter and cooler without feeling dry or damaged. The formula lathers nicely, rinses out easily, and a little goes a long way. I also appreciated that it didn’t stain my hands or shower like some purple shampoos can. Overall, this is a great addition to my hair care routine. It helps keep my color looking fresh between salon visits, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone with blonde, silver, or highlighted hair.

It works great for toning the orange in your hair, but stains your fingers as do most shampoos of this kind. Otherwise it smells good and I did not have any adverse effects from it.

I’ve tried a few silver shampoos, but this one from Milkshake really stands out! The scent is so good — clean, fresh, and salon-like, which makes washing your hair feel like a treat. A lot of purple shampoos on the market. This tops my list! Use: I wash my hair with my regular shampoo first and rinse. Then, I apply a small dime sized of this and shampoo a second time. Rinse. I follow-up with Wen as a leave in conditioner (from Amazon). Time: do not allow to sit on hair very long. I feel it works best on clean wet hair. Results: removed my yellow tint and left my salt & pepper hair as it should. Use: I use this once every 3 days and I typically do wash my hair everyday. I have a short pixie. A little dab does it so this bottle is going to last me awhile.

I am so happy I came across this shampoo. My hair is silver and it really helped remove the yellowish tint that other name brand shampoos didn't fully remove.

Everyone says this product is terrible because it dries out their hair. Well, maybe they should learn how to condition their hair after they use this product. This product is the best purple shampoo, super affordable and absolutely amazing. Milkshake is an awesome brand. I have always used it. It is phenomenal compared to any other purple shampoo available on Amazon. 10 out of 10 would recommend. PS maybe your hairdresser be bleaching you a little too hard… has nothing to do with this product, sis.

Lo preso per mia madre. Volevo un po' di sfumatura di quest'o colore per cambiare un po'. Lei essendo molto sensibile al colore usa questo che non li crea nessun tuo di problema al cuoio capelluto. È soddisfatta e vuole provare anche altre sfumature.

Best shampoo ever. If your blond hair gets too yellow that's definitely the right product. I add this to my regular shampoo so when I wash there's always a bit of it and my hair stays the same shade. Doesn't dry your hair, smells nice but be careful as it stains your hands. I always use a scrub after washing my hair which helps immediately. 2-3 minutes max otherwise you will end up with purple hair! Great product and last aaaaages

I have tried so many purple shampoos and no silver shampoo can beat the milk_shake brand. I originally picked up my first bottle at a salon that I used to go to, but now that I don't go there, I'm really glad it's on Amazon for a reasonable price. This is one of the darkest shades of silver shampoo I've seen so it works amazingly well. I can't recommend it enough. I have been using the milkshake silver shampoo for a few years now after trying so many different ones that just were not strong enough or they were too strongly perfumed, and I couldn't handle them as someone with a scent sensitivity and perfume allergy. The milk_shake brand uses really light and natural sense that are mostly fruit-based which is perfect for me, and smell very nice and fresh. I love the ingredients in this and I love how well it works. It's absolutely insane. As someone who has had platinum to silver hair for years, I've had to touch it up a lot as I don't like to go to the salon very often. And this shampoo keeps my hair looking bright and nicely toned. I've used this a few times as well to correct the toning that my colorist has done in the past, and it has taken my hair from a slightly bronzy platinum to almost perfectly shiny white. When I use this if I want it to have a very powerful effect, I simply scrub it into my hair where it needs it and leave it there for 5 to 10 minutes while I'm in the shower shaving or washing my face. This shampoo does stain your skin if you leave it on your hands so it is best to quickly rinse your hands off after applying it to your hair. I love this so much that I tried out a few other milk_shake brand products and also loved them too!
