Love this book - great ideas!!

I'm sorry to say I was disappointed by this book :( It's incredibly basic and the ideas in it are very much common sense, basic games/activities that most all families can think of with little to no creativity at all. I was also disappointed that an entire section of this book was dedicated to the topic of board games and more than 15 pages simply listed board and card games you should purchase (I.e. Sorry, Chutes & Ladders). I guess I assumed this book would think more outside of the box and also offer ideas that didn't require many additional resources. I gave this to my 7 year old daughter for her birthday thinking it would offer tons of fun ideas for us to conquer this next year. Hopefully the snack section comes in handy, if nothing else :)
