Practical advice based on extensive experience and research
This is a great book for those seeking practical techniques to use in communication and leadership of international teams. Alex clearly has extensive experience in this area and the book sets out to examine the various challenges faced by leaders of international teams. Each chapter closes with some great coaching questions for use both in self reflection and as subject matter for group discussion. There are also interactive exercises for use in improving communication and building a stronger sense of teamwork. Coaching International Teams by Dr Morgan should be a staple part of a leader’s toolkit to help increase communication, influence and impact with their people.

Gets straight to the heart of coaching and managing international teams.
Dr Morgan uses 'five building blocks of inclusion' to explore the best way to make international teams succeed. She reveals a host of issues surrounding linguistic and cultural differences which are vital for coaches and managers. This she does clearly, simply, and intelligibly and then uses questions and activities in very structured ways to inform, communicate, and solve problems. She wears her extensive research, experience and expertise very lightly, and this slim volume will be a godsend to those managing or coaching international teams.Vaughn MalcolmEFL Trainer and Business Coach

A helpful practical guide to coaching international teams more effectively.
Alexandra Morgan has written a short practical guide to coaching international teams more effectively. Her five building block model - linguistic collaboration, inclusive mindset, meta-level thinking, empathy, intercultural collaboration - is a helpful way to summarise and frame some of the key ways of coaching such teams more effectively. Having myself coached many international teams I can attest to the validity of the key themes in the book. The tools and techniques are practical and set out in crisp straightforward language. I would recommend the book as a basic guide for those who haven’t previously coached international teams - and as a helpful aide-memoire for those who have.
