Product ingredients have changed
I don't know why the company advertised that the ingredients were just silica and cedar oil. They have changed the product ingredients and I was sorry to find out that they did. It used to be like 90% silica and 10% cedar but this is not what was on the ingredient list on the product I received. This product used to work but this new blend doesn't seem to do the trick for me. Hopefully they will one day change the product back to the original.

Best Yet is the "best yet"
If you don't like covering yourself with poisons, Best Yet is the perfect solution for dealing withbiting insects. It is all natural, won't stain your clothing, and won't damage your furniture atall. The natural cedar oil will just absorb into clothing, the carpet, wood,...whatever it landson....it will soon disappear. I take the little atomizer bottle with me whenever I go outdoors andspray both myself and my dog to keep mosquitos away. Each evening, when I brush Wesley, Isearch for fleas and if I find one, I give it a quick squirt and it is dead in seconds. It kills ticksas well, just takes longer for them to die. In this way, I do not need to put "spot" flea and ticktreatments on my dog and I feel it is much healthier for him. CedarCide has many productsfor fighting insects all year long. This is my 3rd year for using Best Yet. It's a big winner!

Smells like a cedar forest—but I rather like it
I live in the Northwest Corner of CT—aka tick country. I sprayed my pant legs in the morning. In the afternoon, I went to check on my rhubarbin the tall grass. When I looked down, there was a tick on my pants. I walked to the lawn (on my way to spray it), but it had dropped off.I grew up with an enthusiastic science-teacher dad so I keep testing and checking. I bought a second small spray for travel, and plan to buy the $99 big value size to replenish to small ones (which are conveniently screw off). And if you are skeptical (which I often am of reviews), I was not compensated nor do I plan/expect to be in any way. Smells like a cedar forest—but I rather like it.

Smells like a cedar sawmill but works well
Works great for crawling bugs like ants etc. very quick. No side effects unless you don't like the smell of cedar. I have used this for years for bug killer/repellent. Does not last too long as a mosquito repellent especially in hot weather. You do smell like a cedar chest when using it. I use it when traveling to stop bed bug bites. So far (knock on cedar wood!) it has worked! Always wonder what the maid thinks when she changes the bedding and notices a cedar aroma.!

Doesn't work as well as I had hoped.
We have been over whelmed with mosquitos this summer and I have tried a number of different products to keep them away from me so that I can sit out on my deck in the evenings. This was not one of the better things that I have tried. I sprayed it on as directed and went out to sit on the swing and the mosquitos didn't seem to be affected by it at all. In fact I had 3 bites in less than a minute. It may work for some but not for me. I would suggest you look for a different product if you have the same problem that I have with not wanting to get bitten by mosquitos.

BUG OFF!
I live in Florida, where there are marshes, Lakes, small bugs and BIG bugs! this repellent is perfect for us.. we have a small child and because it is all natural I'm not worried if it gets on his hands and he puts his hands in his mouth. I also bought a bottle for my elderly mother, she lives in south Georgia.. and she is very pleased with the product!

Safe, effective, BUY!
Our family will not/does not use any repellant with DEET. We prefer natural repellants. This is a great product with no worries of health concerns. Here is a tip if you grow lavender: simply pick a head of lavender and rub all over your skin and clothes! Repells mosquitos! However, when lavender season is over we use this and other safe repellants :o)

Works great!
This product has always worked perfectly for me... never a bite with it on. I used to get it as a lotion in a bottle, but now I can only find it as a spray. It has a strong cedar smell... which is not pine, but still I feel like I smell a bit like Christmas when I use it... which is fine. Love that it is a natural product that really works.
