This jump starter is brilliant, having worked in the motor trade for 33 years I've seen and owned a few jump starter packs including the Snap On brief case type which was very expensive at the time of purchase. I decided to test how many vehicles it could start on one full charge the TopDon JS2000 managed to start 9 vehicles with various states of battery charge from flat to 10 volts and it managed to start every single one of them first time which impressed me. The build quality is excellent and with me working in the motor trade I require products to be strong, hard wearing and reliable which this jump starter is, I also like it comes with a protective case to keep if safe from knocks in your tool box or in the boot of your vehicle. All in all this is worth every single penny I paid for it and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to anyone looking for a jump starter. Well done TopDon for making an excellent product at a reasonable price. 5*

Can't believe how effective this battery charger is, from a completely flat van battery for two months to an immediate start with this product, easy to use, compact, good value and recommendation from garages, easy for women to use as well. Well worth£80 for long term use, I don't use the van every day so this product is ideal for me. Thanks very much.

First class it works

When we bought our mild-hybrid car, nobody told us that the myriad of internal electrical systems would eviscerate the battery, unless one was permanently taking long motor journeys. The car is just over four years old, and we are now onto our third main battery. The last time I found myself at the side of the road, it took SIX HOURS for the roadside assistance people to get to us (central Cardiff). When the chap ambled out of his Ford Transit, and took a brief, cursory look under the bonnet, he reached immediately for one of these gadgets and - BING - the car was up and running as if nothing was ever wrong with it. It was like some kind of religious experience as I realised that (a) these jump-starters were not fiendishly expensive, (b) I possessed sufficient technical knowhow to connect the terminals, and (c) six hours was a long time to wait for a solution which literally took two minutes. So, now we have one. This one works just fine - except - you do have to take some care to ensure that the copper connectors are in direct contact with the battery terminals. Strange to say, that is not as straightforward as you might think.

Great little device, gone are the days of needing mates, neighbours & jump leads, this small & powerful & sleek jump starter is ideal to just keep in the boot for emergencies. Purchased & delivered same day, come with 75% charge, although I did fully charge before use which didn’t take long, tried on a completely dead battery first time fitted and no start, the BOOST light flashed pushed once, started the car first push of the button. Great little piece of kit, and on a plus it has a flashlight or in case of another emergency it can charge the kids device’s. Love it

When you've got a 2.5L engine that has decided to drain the battery every time you leave it standing for 24 hours, life can get wearisome. This little device has been an absolute life save (okay, job saver). Clamp it onto the battery terminals. Solid green light - walk slowly to the driver's seat and start the engine. Flashing green light - press the "Boost" button (can be hard to find in the dark, put a little torch in the carrying case), walk more quickly to the driver's seat and start the engine. Sorted. I did four starts one week, one of them a full boost, and the unit was only down about 50% on its charge. It charges on a USB plug. It is just a thing of beauty and you should buy one if you can. Ditch your jump leads, stop practicing your "Excuse me, would you help me to jumpstart my car?" face. Never. Be. Stranded. Again.

Reet. I bought this with a healthy dose of skepticism but, after reading some good and bad reviews, took the plunge anyway... after all, it's not cheap. Item arrived fine with 3 bars of power, i topped it up to full (about an hour of charging, if i recall). My use case is to help my little MG start after long periods of sitting. It's a fairly new battery but still struggles to get things started on one charge from a cold, cold start. So this item claims to be just right. So i tested it. My battery was pretty shagged out after a long squawk anyway. Connected it all up, green light, went to start. Nothing. Tried a few times with no joy. Oh how i huffed and clucked with indignation. I then sat on it for a week (figuratively). The following weekend, on 3 bars of power, I tried again..... In full expectation that it wouldn't work and that i would be seeking a refund (my skepticism bordering self congratulation mode)... Well, it worked, didn't it. It worked beautifully. I don't think I've ever heard that starter motor sound chirpier. The next weekend, it worked again. Turns out I hadn't connected it to the battery properly the first time (or something). So folks, in conclusion, this product is exactly what i wanted it to be and it works a charm. I've marked it down to four stars on value because i'm a tight git.

Bonjour, Mes revenus ne me permettent pas pour le moment d'acheter une batterie neuve. Aussi depuis quelques temps je me contente d'une occasion. Malheureusement celle-ci me lâche au bout d'un moment, en particulier l'hiver. J'étais fatiguée et gênée d'interpeller les automobilistes. Mais c'est l'un d'eux qui m'a dernièrement secourue avec un Topdon 1200A en quelques secondes ! J'en ai donc fait l'acquisition pour la sécurité qu'il offre, entre autres. J'avais visionné des vidéos avant et lorsque je suis tombée en panne j'ai su facilement brancher le Topdon. Ma batterie a démarré instantanément. :-) Quelle joie d'être autonome : Je ne perds plus de temps et ne dérange plus personne ...
